The original PMJ version of Burn was on the top of my all time favorite covers, with the blazing saxophone solo and sizzling harmonies.
This was like a phoenix from the flames. So hot. 🤩

Love watching the variations in how three people can perform the same choreography. The little differences, from the bend of a wrist, how a shoulder is rolled, the placement of fingers, and the speed and energy of a movement. Something so wonderful in the seeing so clearly just a few of the myriad differences that make each person unique. It's always been one of my favorite parts of this kind of performance.

I use to not like Jazz, still on the fence about it, but PMJ gets some of the best talent I've ever seen, puts em together and presents art. I love just sitting back and watching the phenomenal artist do their work.

Hey Ya, Say My Name and All The Small Things are the greatest evidence of this. I listened to the OGs after these, and there is no comparison. The originals are un-listenable and the PMJs are perfection.

I came across this video by chance on UA-cam. I was immediately blown away. What a great arrangement! The coordination between the singers and the fact that each of them has a main part is great. These great voices with the joy that you can feel. wonderful. After that I got involved with Postmodern Jukebox and became a fan and I immediately ordered tickets for a concert in Germany. This is entertainment at its best and the way music should be made clean and with real instruments
as always-just heaven! omg! the joy that postmodern jukebox has brought me over the years now. I discovered them at the beginning of the lockdown in NYC, and I joke not when I say they were one of the things that got me through that dark dark time. a balm to wounds of life. I loved discovering their songbook in that time. It thrilled me. It moved me. It excited me. It gave me hope, when all around me seemed to be falling away. I cannot stress enough how much this music meant to me. it became almost reverential to me. like going to church. it all uplifted me, and made me feel something higher could keep us all going. thank you to all.
everyone here is working at their highest level. I am so thrilled to see Sara Niemietz singing anytime and always. the PMJ "wannabe" was my first real obsession with them. and Sara is such a major part of that song. then her "bad romance" "I want you to want me" "just what I needed" "hey ya!"-everything of hers is just gold! what a marvelous performer on every level. And this is not to take away from Kyndle Wylde and Tatum Langley who are also thrilling. They are both fairly new to me, but I am loving everything I have seen from them. Again, Scott Bradlee is truly a musical genius with impeccable taste. He always uncovers these vocal gems for us. HEAVEN!!!
