You are the best and your paper is beautiful (my favorite). I think it would be helpful to have the dimensions on your patterns. I have a technique of making my templates on card stock and laminating them. I use a hole cutter and string them together in sets. If you make the string loose enough you can easily use them as a guide to cut the pieces. I keep all my instruction in a binder, in page protectors and just drop the pattern into the protector. I name each pattern piece to match up with the instructions. Also I've tried fringe cut scissors and they don't work well. They tear the paper up. I like to curl the edges with scissors but gently or it will tear. I wish I had found you in the beginning of my crepe flower making. You have great tips and I just wanted to share some of my ideas with you. I also use a roller cutter on a self sealing cutting board to cut numerous strips for petals. I use my pattern and mark lightly with white pencil or regular pencil. Then cut 3 petals at a time freehand. I wish I had found you in my beginning of crepe flowers. You have great tips and I just wanted to share some of my ideas with you. I am a member and will be forever. Thanks for sharing.
Well I guess I got use to using the measurements to cut out faster and more pieces at a time. Once I have the dimensions I cut boxes and then cut the petals and leafs out freehand. This will eliminate the pattern pieces when cutting shapes. I'll be happy to send pictures soon. Thanks so much
I wish you had crepe paper with the colors of a deap purple, lavender and pinks that all blend. With green and gold leaves . I've only have those colors in my house and I need some flowers in here for the winter !
