- I present you, The Ohio Double Challenge. In this video, Caleb and I attempt to surf Lake Erie and snowboard the streets of Cleveland on the same day. Has anyone else attempted a Great Lakes Double?

What direction was the wind out of? It looks north/northwest. My guess is the crew was somewhere else where the waves are more clean. Nevertheless, I love your videos! Reminds me of my former home! And seriously, why aren't you wearing hoodie? Do you really want frostbite? I got it once surfing Edgewater in the winter. Be careful friends!
The first day was NE, which is awesome at Edgewater. Second was North West which isn’t preferred t for sure, but It was full on blizzard with 10 inches on the road and gales so I stuck with the home beach. I dunno if any beach was clean that day, it was gnarly!

I was holding out on the hood at this point still. The lake was still pretty warm and the storm was in the mid 30s so I was cool on frostbite.

@@theskeltonbrothers By keeping your head warm, you minimize the chances of frostbite. One thing I can't stress enough, when your shins start to go numb, it is time to go home and warm up, otherwise you will have white patches of dead skin and nerve endings in your toes. Trust me on this! I have lived it in January! You need your toes for surfing. Don't get them amputated because you prolonged your stay. I was lucky to not have to have them amputated but had I stayed too long, it would have been a reality.

I miss surfing Cleveland in the winter with everyone in the lineup. The coolest and funnest group of guys ever! Surfing Cleveland in the winter makes the color grey the most beautiful color.

As a video maker, I felt that shout of “proof of concept” before you did something everything in your body was telling you not to do. Never jumped into the lake in a snowstorm, but I felt that hard haha
You know the feeling all to well I’m sure. We chose a fun career though man!
