I had a very bad experience with neighbors from India who were computer engineering students. They seemed so nice in the beginning when it was only two of them that moved into a junior one bedroom. A few months passed by and now there were 5 people living in that small place. They would make all sorts of noise in the middle of the night without consideration for people that needed to wake up early. They were not very clean either. I had a bad fly problem because of it. Once they moved the fly problem went away. Please be careful. It was a terrible experience. But the most concerning and disturbing part was that I suspect they where hacking my WIFI and invading my privacy. It was a very difficult experience especially since I don't base my opinion on race but on actions and behavior.
I am an Indian and living in Germany. Some people do these nasty things and i don't know why and how. 5 People in a room?? OMG! Too much for such a small place. Anyways, all are not like that. Unfortunately, you got a bad experience with them I must say.

I plan on coming in towards the end of this year 2022 but how can 1 can get some of these documents or stand a chance 1) Previous landlord reference 2) Salary or business account statement to prove income flow n all 3) Credit score for someone that haven’t done any financial flow in the system And other little nips n bits to sort out. I word of advice, which by the way has nothing to do with discrimination. And base my opinion on a person by their actions. Be very cautious with regards to who will be your neighbors. I am currently living near Indian computer engineering students. Ever since they moved in I have been having issues with my Wifi and computer network being hacked. Besides that, they like to save money and so they will fit about 4 people in a one bedroom apartment. Which causes excessive noise at all hours. Additionally they like having phone conversations outside which usually tends to be in front of other tenants apartments which can cause a disturbance. When they use the laundry room they leave the clothes in the machines over night and do not clean up after themselves once they are done. Additionally, They are not very clean in general. Once a cat must have taken a dump near their front door and they never cleaned it up. This attacted flies in my home. It was a mess.
Thanks for the all the useful tips you've given! Recently an admission is offered to me by Hamburg Technical University so I am trying to evaluate the average price for the housing. Berlin is not germany the same way that NYC is not America...Most of germany has cheap apartments compared to most major German cities. Rent prices in the Netherlands for ex,. are actually doubled.
Good point! But most expats wanna live in the biggest most "diverse" cities in Germany, and we all know the rental prices in these cities are high compared to smaller towns in Germany.
