This is my favorite UA-cam video of all time. And my absolute favorite UA-cam channel. Your work is truly amazing. Thank you and please make more videos like this.
Well done! This channel doesn’t usually do narrated content and this is the first time heard it. The narration was nice, but then it was relevant and accurate with our latest understanding (as limited as it is). Not some pseudo science clickbait. Mad props!
It feels like I shouldn’t be watching this for free, this is such high quality !! Great job, this was both fun and informative (P.S. I appreciate that little stage separation you did for the rocket in upper Earth orbit 🥰)
100% agree with you. However, and I am gonna be a bit of an ass here, the space probe never reached orbit, let alone 'upper earth orbit' which is not anywhere near the altitude it is..
Earth can't be the only life out there when you comprehend how many galaxies there are; and how many stars are within each galaxy. It's really amazing to think about. Just the sheer size of it all. Even how unique life is and how we adapted here on Earth. Truly a thing to be cherished.
The most amazing thing about this to me is that it requires moving several quadrillion times to spend of light to reach the edge of the observable universe... and as humans we have yet to travel a fraction of a fraction of a percent the speed of light.
Wow. This really puts us and our entire existence into wonder, how lucky we are, and the stuff that is lying out there, beyond our comprehension. Are we truly alone? In a vast, seemingly endless, dark, lonely, cold, void of an expanse? This video really shows us the sheer insignificance of our species, world, and the things we call reality.
This and your Age of the Universe in Time perspective videos disturb me, frighten me, thrill me, excite me, educate me. All at once. They are my favorites. Thank you MBS
Do not be afraid. Not of things like this. For us mere mortals, and not particularly good ones either, matters like this are irrelevant. Like an ant wondering if their home might actually be on MY property. Even if you told the ants, and inflicted great pain upon them for their intrusion, they will never truly know or understand. That is you. We can inform you of all of this, and this knowledge does nothing to improve or degrade your current circumstances. You must continue on as long as you are capable of doing so. That is your purpose in life, to experience it. That is the meaning of life. You are not in control, you never were, you never will be. Your choices are limited, if you have any choices at all. And your choices are, you either go on experiencing life, love it or hate it. OR; you take an early exit; which you have to do by your own hand. And a special note here: There is no guarantee that ending your experience early is not also fated; that you may not have any control over even that. Although, I suppose there is another option. Instead of just dealing with it, or suiciding, one could turn to religion. They could just dump it all into the hands of an imaginary deity. "It is all in God's hands." Meh, this option is not for me. But for those who have a difficult time coping with the infinite powerlessness that is innate to being human, religion would be a pretty good place to run and hide for a lifetime. And if you waver, remember; there were an estimated nearly 120 billion humans that lived and died before you, to make you strong enough to bear this weight. To shrug it off, ignore it, or end it early, would be a dishonor on your ancestors. Honor the masses of humans that lived and died so that we may also live and die.
Absolutely breathtaking! Both the detail, presentation, and how the explanations of "why we know this" or "why we assume this to be the case" are magnificently laid out!
This is eerily accurate, I've been on that same intergalactic road trip myself! Had to dodge a few black holes and supernovas along the way. Pro tip: the cosmic coffee at the Andromeda pit stop is out of this world!

Very relaxing but informative video. I learnt some new cosmological terms and words I wasn't aware of. I look forward to your next interstellar journey,
It’s fascinating how as we zoom further and further out there are clear changes of cosmic order. Stars, then galaxies, then super clusters, filaments and finally the cosmic web. If the universe does go on forever, it would be interesting to see what other things we will see. Is the cosmic web just like a galaxy in isolation to others and all of these cosmic webs are part of a larger, yet unknown stucture? Mind blown 🤯
10:00 At about this time, the stars of galaxy itself should start to appear rotating backwards at faster and faster speeds, due to how far in the past the light representing it is becoming.
It is all speculation build on guesswork. The earth is not a spinning ball. Your masters have made you believe what they tell you. The earth is flat and always was. The whole world is sleeping.

It's scary when things went black. You are feel the darkness, coldness & loneliness of space. You imagine what or who else is out there at the edge of those other galaxies.
I wish they made a movie or journey like this in 3D at a theater. It would be awesome experience & journey!
I'd rather do it for real.
Space is not cold...
@@Real_Red_Foxyea it hot too hot
@@namelessguy5491So let's make an omelette :D
The darkness doesnt scare me, what scares me is what will appear next, like a super giant star
I can ONLY IMAGINE how wonderful it is to see clusters of galaxies.
Hii😊
@@mars-jr5uu are you Mars?

This is my favorite UA-cam video of all time. And my absolute favorite UA-cam channel. Your work is truly amazing. Thank you and please make more videos like this.
Well done! This channel doesn’t usually do narrated content and this is the first time heard it. The narration was nice, but then it was relevant and accurate with our latest understanding (as limited as it is). Not some pseudo science clickbait. Mad props!
It feels like I shouldn’t be watching this for free, this is such high quality !! Great job, this was both fun and informative
(P.S. I appreciate that little stage separation you did for the rocket in upper Earth orbit 🥰)
There's a "$ Thanks" button if you didn't know. Just fyi
100% agree with you. However, and I am gonna be a bit of an ass here, the space probe never reached orbit, let alone 'upper earth orbit' which is not anywhere near the altitude it is..
you shouldn’t be watching for free
get out your wallet and donate to the channel like I and countless others have done.
stop being a freeloader
@@Exilir8 ur not being an ass, ur just sharing what u know :)
@@solderet_wav such positivity.
Earth can't be the only life out there when you comprehend how many galaxies there are; and how many stars are within each galaxy. It's really amazing to think about. Just the sheer size of it all. Even how unique life is and how we adapted here on Earth. Truly a thing to be cherished.
Absolutely not. In t/our solar system ? Possibly. Otherwise, nope.
The most amazing thing about this to me is that it requires moving several quadrillion times to spend of light to reach the edge of the observable universe... and as humans we have yet to travel a fraction of a fraction of a percent the speed of light.
At a billion times would it be only ~92 hours?
My goodness, well done. I can't remember the last time I've had 15 minutes pass so quickly. This is an extraordinarily well done video.
I got to the end and thought “WAIT! I forgot my phone!” 😳
Hay hay Tay!
So great to see that one of the original UA-cam ambassadors is still checking out high-quality YT content like this.
Oh no, I forgot snacks!
Hey it's the chocolate rain guy!
Did i put enough dog food on the bowl?
This channel is absolutely amazing I love the content and I love the choice of video topics please keep making these videos they are awesome
Its the little details that make your videos so special, for example when the airliner flew by 1:31
This and your Age of the Universe in Time perspective videos disturb me, frighten me, thrill me, excite me, educate me.
This is mind blowing stuff.
It shows how insignificant we are.
But hey! Let’s continue fighting over arid patches of sand…
Thanks, Arthur, I'll go try one myself!
reminds me of when I was at the Sombrero Galaxy, they had these frozen desserts very similar to Ice Cream that was just other-wordly.
Was Capt.Kirk & Spock there at the cozmeek coorfee joint.

Guys, take care of your hair. 😊
The Glados reference is just top notch, amazing work keep it up!!!!
"This was a triumph, making a note here, 'huge success'" - LOL
Got to be one of the best videos on UA-cam. Congratulations. Job well done xx
Really puts in perspective just how small we are. Hell, I was marveling at that as we were seeing the aerial view of Long Island!
To be honest, if you think about it.... It doesn't. Nothing can put together such incomprehensible scale into the human mind. Never mind the universe, it's already impossible for us to fully comprehend the scale of tye solar system.
QUE
This is absolutely incredible. Thank you for taking the time to make this.
No tengo palabras, de verdad. Espectacular trabajo, espectacular edición y espectacular video. De lo más currado que he visto nunca en UA-cam. Una auténtica pasada.
meta ball studios YOU ARE THE BEST I LOVE THIS VIDEO IT DESERVES 10/10 STARS I LOVE IT SO MUCH 🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤
The dim colours and the light from the sphere ship were a seriously nice calming relaxing thing to watch. Another awesome video
One of the most engaging, put-together and informative videos about the universe. 👏 Every science teacher in junior high should show this to their class
Amazing visuals as always! Huge fan of your space and universe videos. Keep up the great work❤
Every location in this universe has its own observable universe! 🤯
Awesome video. Nice graphics. This point of view is fun to explore. Even with defying physics. The virtual flight attendant sounded a lot like GLaDOS. Wasn’t sure if she was going to kill me at the end or bake me a cake. 😅😂 Great job!
This is just wow! No wonder some people might experience existential dread when trying to comprehend the incalculable scale of the universe.
Either that or they stop trying & go back to accepting some sort of superstition-based religion. Don’t have to think about the enormity of the Universe; let the ministers tell you what to believe.
With ALL the amazing incredible possibilities OUT THERE and I end up being stuck here.
In reality, it is extremely empty and boring out there. There are far more possibilities here on earth.
Man, I loved this. Would love to have something like this that just explores the areas of our own galaxy. Thank you!
This would be awesome in VR
That would be really incredible. We could walk around on other planets.
4:52 Terrestrial Planets are like my CD collection from the 90's being composed primarily of rock and metal.
😂😂👍
Aside from the AI narration, this was pretty good. I would love to see the "Epic Spaceman" channel do one like this because his visuals are absolutely insane.
I'm a long-time subscriber and love your comparison videos, but this one got me really excited! Contemplating the limits (if they exist) of our universe is endlessly fascinating to me. Great job on this, Alvaro!
Excellent as always! Your animation (and research) is top-notch! I particularly liked the "violated laws of physics" warning - I'd otherwise not noticed we were travelling a truly transwarp velocities 😁😁
So scary yet epic to see how big the universe really is and us just being a very tiny dust spot floating in a big universe
This was so good you are like beyond smarter than me
I literally cried tears of AWE watching this..........like.....this is mindbogglingly amazing. WHERE ARE WE DUDE!?! This is INSANE.....the Universe...just so massive............our imaginations can't even fathom
we are so tiny..
...And that's just the TINY dimension of our senses.
Youre not alone bro, many ppl have the same feeling when watching these kinds of universe videos. I feel so weird, so exciting, angry and useless at the same time...
RIGHT? Its mindblowing
You literally did NOT "cry tears of awe" while watching this lol. Y'all just be sayin anything these days 😂
Consider me completely amazed! Watched it 3 times in a row and my mind was blown. The distances are so mind blowing its difficult to comprehend. Thanks to this work I am one light year closer to comprehension. Thank-You for such an amazing piece of work.
This was so stunning! We don't know how big the universe, but it also so terrifying when we looked at the darkness everywhere around us.

What a fun video! Thanks for taking us on this intergalactic tour!
After crossing the observable universe there are other universes called as multiverse where many universes are there and those universes floats in the garbodakshay ocean where lord vishnu sleeps in sheshnag with mata laxmii.
This is a hypothetical concept
Because even science itself isn't sure about existence of multiverse
Also the uploader must be a Christian so don't even expect from him to make videos on existence of lord Vishnu
this was really well done. i especially appreciated the red shift in the lights of the sphere. very cool!
This is mindblowing! It feels amazing to travel with a speed higher than (c).
It's too hard for a brain to handle this trip.
Wow 😳
I knew there had to be more than just our solar system when I was in elementary and high school. Sure enough, it's bigger than we could even imagine and were still learning, exploring and discovering. So cool to me.
Now you know.
i’m always amazed at your ability to turn complex ideas into engaging content!

MetaBallStudios once again knocking it out of the ballpark quite literally in this context.

“Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.”
― Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
I spent the whole time wondering when our virtual flight attendant GlaDOS was going to flood the space capsule with deadly neurotoxin 🤣
In all seriousness, great video as always, can't wait to see what you do next!
i love the little warning that tells us when we break the laws of physics
This was an amazing video, just know that you guys are very much appreciated.
I can't imagine travelling to the limits of the universe without stopping to appreciate or explore anything along the way
I learn more from this channel than I do in school.
Don't let your teachers hear you say that! They might assign you extra homework to make up for it. Just don't blame the channel if you end up with twice the workload.

If you became a teacher, you can show your astronomy class this video
Watching these videos in school would be it so much better than actual school.
This is exactly the kind of video I need to be watching just before I go to sleep!
thank you guys your videos are very relaxing and exciting
Well done, one of the best scalar simulations I've seen on the mind blowing size of the universe

Metaballstudios never disappoints us, all his realistic videos are insane!
"realistic"
This was really cool to watch!! Felt like I was really flying through space. I’ll be back y’all! 🚀
Incredible, I keep expecting Professer Brian Cox to make an appearance, the detail of the flight take off was truly amazing 😮
when you said "capable of traveling at _any speed_ ", you really meant it, holy sh... ^^
thank you for the trip.
If the traveling speed were restricted to the speed of light, the video would be too long for UA-cam. I think that is the real reason.
Very relaxing but informative video. I learnt some new cosmological terms and words I wasn't aware of. I look forward to your next interstellar journey,
I like how you capitalized simulated, so that we would not accidentally think you had taken a physically real journey to the end of the universe.
Just gotta duck out to the edge of the universe for some references shots then i'll be right back.
Have watched hundreds of universe videos, this was absolutely amazing and beautiful
Thank you for making this
This was unbelievable. So well done and interesting
Would not have guessed that the speed of light multilplier would have to be in the QUADRILLIONS to keep the video length reasonable!
I believe it went above 40 quadrillion before slowing down again.
2:10 "At this altitude, we can appreciate the curvature of the Earth." Flat Earthers: "F this sh*t. I'm outta here."
Phenomenal video. I've never fathomed that multiplication of speed of light
