Tvd is a joke hell flame out reports so far say he isnt even a leader and locke might start. Dude adjust your expectations wi wrs=overated o line has another coach again no tight ends and our d line is sus like a pathetic run team should be able to score 3 tds just ruuning the ball. Offense aint taking no step forward 😂
I think we will be five times better than last year, but our schedule is five times harder. The real question is can Nelson and Mahlman keep TVD from getting killed by edge rushers. And can Renfro stay healthy.
I trust Fickell. As you pointed out, the record doesn’t show the injuries and up and down trends we had, but we could have won basically every game. The LSU game was the season in a summary basically: could, and probably should, have won. Defense let us down late, play calling also sucked late. Anyway, future is bright. On Wisconsin!
@collegefootballwithsam I think they have a great staff because of having Fick and Tress.... Ohio State connections. I'm not as big on Longo but his offenses at North Carolina and Mississippi show that the dude knows his job. Going outside of HC, OC, and DC, I don't know staffs as well as you at all. Honestly though... if Ohio State Fickell, Longo, and Tressel, I think I would dig it. I can't see them comparing with Day, Kelly, and Knowles, though.
This isn't a troll, but like I said in the video double digit wins or reaching Indy is the absolute ceiling. This team is likely winning 7/8/9 wins if they win their bowl game.
10-2 would be great, appreciate your optimism. Realistically, with this schedule, 9-3 or 8-4. But, you never know. I will say, they have most of the tougher opponents at home. Alabama isn’t use to being on the road with top opponents in September. Time will tell.
@@collegefootballwithsam Unfortunately, September can be warm/hot, and when it is, the temp inside Camp Randall on the field can be like a roasting oven.
Alabama is my team. Outside of the SEC Wisconsin is my favorite team(Packers fan as well). I hope yall have a great season and seasons to come. Great video. See ya 9/14 ..RTR!
The coaching staff doesn't score TDs or stop the opposition. We have no idea how TVD will grasp Longo's complcated offense. True we have good recruits but how many will make a difference in their freshman year?
We need to keep the likes of Notre Dame and Ohio State from poaching our recruits first. Every time it happens, especially in years #1-3, we take a step backwards.
I’m hoping they make a leap forward this year, we need to see the growth and changes in fickels team. This year is far more important than some may think. With all the changes in recruiting and playoffs etc. Wisconsin can become a powerhouse team or fall by the wayside
Agreed. Even as a Michigan fan I can't stand Deace. Haven't watched him in years. I remember how unbelievably pessimistic and mopey he was following the 2020 season. Granted, the COVID season was bad, but holy crap was he depressing to watch.
@MaizeBlueMichigan Well... he is a Wolverine fan that graduated as a Spartan. God, help that dude. Lol. I still watch him. I always liked Bigger Ten, too.
Bill Connelly factors in incoming and outgoing transfers into returning production. I still believe it is an important statistic, especially in an age where players will declare for the draft early while other teams get the benefit of having returning seniors.

WMU Broncos have beaten Wisconsin before and about to do it again ..
More Wisconsin news. Thanks!
You are welcome!
Our running back corp is way better even with the loss of BA.
Tvd is a joke hell flame out reports so far say he isnt even a leader and locke might start. Alabama better watch out. Might end up like LSU when they came to GB to play a mediocre Badger team and lost.
Will Wisconsin play in the Big Ten Championship Game this year?
No they will not.
Let’s go! Wisco vid
I have been waiting a long time to talk about the Badgers.
I think we will be five times better than last year, but our schedule is five times harder. The real question is can Nelson and Mahlman keep TVD from getting killed by edge rushers. And can Renfro stay healthy.
Wisconsin may win the natty this year!
April Fools was yesterday. I hope they have the potential to do so under Fickell at some point.
I trust Fickell. As you pointed out, the record doesn’t show the injuries and up and down trends we had, but we could have won basically every game. I don’t trust Fickle! His offense sucks!
I'm a Wis fan and with the schedule we have along with being the 2nd yr of a rebuild 8 wins is the ceiling 7 wins is realistic
7 wins would be a decent season with the schedule.
@@cur244 I think anything above that would come from above average QB play
Mellusi was a better fit in the offense than Allen. If Mellusi can stay healthy he'll have a big year.
Another receiver who is balling out in spring is Trech…have heard nothing but great things about him
They really do have a great staff.
Where would you rank it out of the 18 Big Ten teams?
@collegefootballwithsam I think they have a great staff because of having Fick and Tress.... Ohio State connections. I'm a WI fan and 10-2 seems unbelievably optimistic. 7-5 seems more like it considering the schedule.
5 and 7 book it 😂 bama gonna roll their season into the trash can!
No way. I love Wisconsin but this feels like a troll lol. 6 or 7 wins. We will be better as a team but a much harder schedule. Maybe in 2 -3 years

If we can have an extremely cold September that would do your Badgers well against the Tide.

DON'T EVER LISTEN TO STEVE DEACE!!!! lol. Never!
Why not? I mean last year he picked three Big Ten teams to make the CFP, so there is that lol.
Agreed. Even as a Michigan fan I can't stand Deace. Haven't watched him in years. I remember how unbelievably pessimistic and mopey he was following the 2020 season. Granted, the COVID season was bad, but holy crap was he depressing to watch.

You are dreaming ! 7-5 or 6-6 is most likely.
The Badgers new 3 points a half offense really sucks!
16-0
Now that would be quite the story.
😅
5-7 or 4-8. Schedule is a gauntlet and this team is baaaaad
I’m not sure how meaningful “returning production” stats are anymore in the age of the transfer portal.
Bill Connelly factors in incoming and outgoing transfers into returning production. I still believe it is an important statistic, especially in an age where players will declare for the draft early while other teams get the benefit of having returning seniors.
Bahaha breakthrough! Yeah breakthrough to a 6-6 record.
Minimal but Jeff Petroski “medically retired”
Okay. Thank you for the information, BadgerBlase.
B1G contenders? Dunno.
Only time will tell. I think their staff, OL, and defense give them a chance.
7&5
With their tough schedule I think that is a realistic prediction.
