- In this video I provide a brief follow up to a recent review of the 2023 Trekology Aluft Pro Pillow that I purchased and used over 10 days of continuous camping. There is a problem with this pillow and I've also experienced the exact same problem with another of their pillows, along with issues with airbeds....come on Trekology, you can do better!

Well done. Thanks for the warning, perhaps they will take note.
Worse thing is, I do like their design but quality control not so much… not sure these companies care to be honest
My Trekology Aluft pillow (not that model) leaked after a couple of uses, and is now useless!
Shame really, I also had an airbed from them that leaked… for now I’ll be avoiding Trekology
Thanks Andrew, I’ve had my sea to summer pillow for six years now used on many a DofE trip, and all’s on my yearly motorcycle adventures an haven’t had any complains. Ain’t as large as that one though. Think I’ve had my monies worth at the price I paid.
Cheers Kenny, I’ve got several pillows…obviously to test and review 😊 and this was a good comfy one but as said I’ve had a few issues with different Trekology gear so guess quality control is a bit of an issue! Currently using an Exped Mega Pillow and actually I’d say it’s as comfy as the Trekology and Exped gear is good quality… I’m also quite a fan of Sea to Summit gear and have a few items of theirs, all top quality.. might look at pillow for a review but to be honest I can’t keep spending on camping gear, it’s become an expensive addiction 😂
Same here mate I really want to love trekology pillows the customer service is second to none but after my original trekology without the band just goes down now and I'm on my second (after a replacement) aluft deluxe (the band is a game changer in my book btw) just failed on my last camp I can't even be arsed complaining now like I say the customer service is second to none it's almost like they know there's a problem with valves bladders and build and are ready to say that's fine no problem here's another one so it's a new brand for me any suggestions atb mate 😀👍
Yes, actually I didn’t say that but previous customer service has been very good with Trekology but like you I just gave up with them because of repeated issues! I’m currently using an Exped Mega Pillow, similar to this one but quality is better (so far) and I’ve got two of their sleep mats, one of which I’ve had for 10 years without issue, so fingers crossed! I’ve done an initial review and used it continually since…great quality, very comfy and slightly bigger than the Trekology with small pack size! Have a look here, not cheap but looks far better quality!

@@thecampingbiker791 nice one pal will check your link out I did notice you mentioned the exped mega pillow on another reply so I've just ordered one now like the fact you can attach some bungee cord to it so I can still have the not pinging to the bottom of my tent issue with it which is great how do they even get down there without some kind of attachment btw 😂 cheers mate atb 😀👍
@@jonnytentpeg ha, you should see me trying to retrieve stuff from my little Robens Elk River1 tent 😂 👍🏻
@@thecampingbiker791 😂😂😂😂 tell me about it mate going off tangent here but I lose more stuff in my tents that are 3ft by 6ft max than I do in my entire house I can only think it's the camping gods playing with us 😂😂😂😂😀👍
@@jonnytentpeg indeed so 😂
Had two, both have gone down, never buy another
I’m with you on that, as said good designs but poor quality control.. not for me anymore
I take my own home pillow I find it way more comfortable than these farty over priced things Andy
I’ve cut a pillow in half and had it stitched up….watch this space Andy 😂 👍🏻
Sewing is your weak zone eh?? You seem my age and mum taught me well.
Definitely not my strong point..but I’m real handy with an iron 😂 In truth new products shouldn’t fail and it’s good to see how they deal when there are faults 👍🏻
