Today, I’m tackling my messy closet and making it more minimal. I'm bringing out my seasonal bin and grabbing a few pieces to help me get through the awkward in-between summer/autumn weather we experience this time of the year in the PNW! I have a few new and thrifted pieces to share with you in a little fall clothing haul as well as a couple of fall outfit ideas for 2022!
In this video, I share my thought process, some helpful tips and tricks as well as some honest encouragement on how challenging it can be to declutter and organize a closet!

Just so you know I much prefer the ‘chatty’ part of the video…I find it so much more helpful to hear how you process and think through decisions. I find it very helpful because I feel more ‘normal’ in my thinking and deciding.

I love the brighter pants! But if you decide you want to keep them since they’re hard to find I suggest dye! Dye them a dark brown color to suit your wardrobe
Linen dyea pretty easily so give it a go. You can make your favorite pants any color you want.

Somehow Natalie always gets me into the mood of organizing. As soon as her video ended, I found myself folding clothes, making a giveaway pile and bringing out my fall options. I love how you have embraced the old lady classic vibes. No to the overalls! Let Molly have them! Enjoying your finds, please show us how to maintain the linen items. My daughter loves rompers from old navy in that linen fabric, but I cannot get the wrinkles out! Oklahoma hasn't had the fall weather yet. Definitely going to try out this 3-33, but our weather literally changes 4 times during the day. My coat closet is always a mess from this, spring jacket, fall jacket, rain coat, ball caps, vests, hoodies, I'm finding it hard to be minimal in this closet, and with a two story, no one wants to run back upstairs for a different jacket.

This came at the PERFECT time for me… I really need to declutter my clothing but I’ve been putting it off. I hate how stuffed my closet is right now. But I feel so guilty getting rid of things I paid money for, even if it was thrifted on Poshmark! I want to get back to doing a capsule wardrobe again now that I’ve defined my style a little better.

So with postpartum and weight fluctuations, I actually gave up on true jeans. I ONLY buy American Eagle Outfitters “Jeggings” because they are so stretchy and forgiving. I have skinny and flare; they come in all leg silhouettes! I just look for my measurements on Poshmark 🥰

I love the inspiration you give when doing the wardrobe adjustments. I've started mine. We live in SC. It's still warm during the day when the sun has risen. But it's a tad cooler in the late evenings / early morning hours. I say cooler loosely as it's 60's / 70's. Usually summer it's 80 something with humidity being quite high. Feels 90 something even after the sun has set.
But I don't complain too much as the cooler temps (we do get 30's sometimes here) can be brutal on my achy bones.

I love your capsule wardrobe videos! When I worked at Dillard’s eons ago, they had a brand called Jolt in the juniors department that were soft elastic waist and lightweight jean material. I loved them. I even wore them as maternity jeans as long as I could lol

Cello Glider skinny or flare jeans are amazing. Not a terribly high price point. I’ve had mine for years and thinking of repurchasing. Might be helpful for you since they are pull on (no zipper or button). They do have belt loops though so don’t appear to be pull on. I love them because shirts lay flat against them. Not bulky! Hi Natalie! I'm petite (4'11") and although I don't have abdominal migraines, I DO despise typical jean closures because I'm a curvier size 14. Liverpool brand has petite jeans and some are with a yoga pant type band that doesn't have a button and zipper closure. I own 2 pairs and those are the only jeans I own! Price tag is higher than typical jeans at $88 but so is the quality. They still look new after five years! Thank you so much for your relatable videos you're a gift to the internet!

I love CJLA jeans! They have a lot more stretch than most jeans and I find myself hanging out in them a lot longer than I usually would in other brand jeans because they are so comfy!
