This was a good episode. Also depression looks different for different people. Be slow to judge those dealing with mental illness. Depression is more than just a feeling it's an actual sickness that needs treatment. Some people have a chemical imbalance that causes depression; it's more than just something bad happened to that person. Another type of depression is situational or circumstantial, but that can b very serious as well. Some people definitely don't choose depression and deep sadness.
Scientists have done studies of a depressed brain and a “normal” brain and they look different. You’re right. It’s a chemical imbalance and you can’t just think positively to get out of it
You said this so perfectly, i was coming on here to comment this very thing. There’s so much misconception, I hate how it’s always the same narrative surrounding depression and people never dive into what’s really going on in the brain. It’s so much deeper than “thinking positive”.
The only way to have a chemical imbalance inside of your body is because of the foods your consuming and the things you’re using on and in your body. Once you stop putting all those man made chemicals, dead animals, high processed foods, sugar, salt etc your mind will be clear of all the BS. Your gut and what you put into it is directly connected to your brain.
I’m happy you said this because Drea response to Lex about this BOTHERED ME ! How do you get on here and talk about going to therapy and “Better Help” but used that same mouth to say people basically chose to be sad, depressed and anxious ?!? Like make it make sense. I usually agree with them but this very much bothered my spirit and now I look at her differently. Just because something can happen to you and you can shake it off, doesn’t mean someone who can’t cope just as well is weak. Like ma’am, POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION IS REAL. MOMMY BLUES IS REAL and it’s not something women just up and chose to be after pregnancy.
@@verachambersrfh2574 I’m pretty sure she could connect with what he is saying. A huge part of what she do is making jokes, so I’m sure that’s what that was

It is conditioning, nurturing and love. You have to know when to condition, when to water and when to love" -19Keys that will resonate with me FOREVER. This episode is REALLY GOOD thank you !
Because she was in the presence of a MAN (in character). She understood her position and sat within the natural submission. She was actually sitting closer to him, kind of like a wife; and in a way- it made her co-host look like she was in her own space representing her own energy it no longer looked like a triangle conversation. She was also highly attracted to him for what he brought to her mind; you see how when HE (not her co-host) asked her about the song she got a bit quirky? It was because the song along alone didn't represent the same frequency that they've been on. Ain't no hiding that real energy!
He brought up an interesting point about nurturing plants. I used to buy houseplants and couldn't keep them alive. I noticed that once I worked on embracing my feminine energy, my houseplants don't die anymore. I intuitively know when to water and how to nurture them now.
As someone who's always looking for ways to improve themselves, stumbling upon this episode featuring 19 keys was a game changer Not only did I learn so much from his wealth of knowledge, but the humor sprinkled throughout kept me engaged from start to finish. Even if folks do not agree with his entire point of view he is generally positive and I believe his goal is ultimately to help folks live better. It's fun to see these two shows intersect.

Its so hard to describe the type of podcast this is when I tell my friends to listen. literally all I say is bihhh you just have to listen. Every week I find myself learning and growing with you both. This was great Food for Thoughts this week. I would say keep it up but I know yall aint stopping!! Can't wait to watch next week!!!
I think you all should educate yourselves on what depression is. It’s not an emotion, it’s a clinical mental health disorder. It’s a chemical imbalance in the brain. As a therapist who studies neuroscience, the brain scans of a depressed person looks completely different from someone who isn’t depressed- so there is evidence that depression directly impacts the brain. Don’t be so “woke” that you make ignorant comments. Just like nobody chooses to have physical illnesses like cancer, lupus, or diabetes, nobody chooses to have mental health illnesses like bipolar, depression, or schizophrenia.
I don’t think they meant choosing to have depression, mental health, etc. It is a choice on how you react to it. “Woe is me” attitude, sulking, negative talk vs. therapy and actually working on getting out of that state in your own way. You do not have to stay there and just be labeled as depressed. You can do something about it to change your habits and mindset but it is ultimately your choice to do so.
All of the things you listed are a result of one eating dead animals, highly processed foods, man made chemicals. No one is born with anyone of those things. Some but not all. Most who have those it grew from the things they consumed althroughout their life.
@@uniquatiana3823 but your reply alone says you don’t really understand depression. As someone who once was depressed all of that sounds good but to a person in a depressed state “putting on a happy face” and just “faking it and think happy thoughts” don’t come that easy. It’s a dark cloud over you even on the brightest day and you cry because you want to feel better but can’t, even after doing using the tools learned in therapy. It takes time and then there are triggers. Triggers that you don’t know you have until they trigger you into a place of depression. Allow people the time to heal and stop with the “just feel better already” attitude because a lot of people are trying. When they reach out just know they’ve fought themselves internally already so maybe the best thing to do is be an ear and not say anything.
@Amman S. lol I’m talking to the people in the podcast who made the ignorant comment, not the other commenters. The comment section was created for us to comment, correct? Not sure how you missed that. My comment is based on scientific evidence. So, whether you agree or not, what I stated are facts. It doesn’t matter if you feel as though it isn’t bright lol. It’s SCIENCE. It’s a fact that depression is a mental health disorder. The DSM5 tells us that. It’s a fact that a depressed person’s brain scan looks differently than one that isn’t. If you don’t care for my comment, feel free to move on with life… not that serious. Be blessed, love.

I’ve been watching 19 keys for at least 8 mnths but this is My first time watching poor minds podcast. At first I thought, wat in the world is this. Because these 2 Ladies caught me off guard by the way they talk. But after listening for a few minutes, I began to realize these Ladies are very intelligent. The way they articulate things is on another level. Also 19 keys, always thinking light years ahead which is a true example of a leader. Great show guys Ima watch this one at least a few times
Keys' ability to incorporate his Wisdom from years of studying so that these Attractive ladies can understand the Importance of True Knowledge & Fact is Important for Our future existence as a community. Let's chalk up the Silliness (the long-gated pronunciation of words with over exaggerated hand gestures) displayed as a defense mechanism to what has been programmed into Black Women into thinking that this way of expressing themselves is somehow cute ; instead of what is actually being said @ that moment ... as something We can All work on. The Patience along with the Respect exemplified by the GoD, was Impressive ! This is a Blueprint of the necessary teaching for a lot of Our confused women how not to get fully defensive when a lesson is being taught about how we are to deprogram ourselves from society's misrepresentation of who We really are as a people. This is How you Control a Room. PS.. I hope this observation wasn't received as a explanation in 'Script'. Just the facts, without all the Extra. 😉 Peace to the GoD for staying Focused.

This was one of y'all best episodes. I've watched several in the past couple days and this & the Wallstreet trapper episode was the best 2 in my opinion. ❤️ Love y'all keep going 🆙️
I’ve been following him for a while! I can listen to him all day 🙌🏾
For hours...an hours and hours
What she said about the friendships and categories was DEEP 👏🏽 I appreciate that
Whoreible decisions was just talking about him. I’ve never heard of him before that, so I’m excited for this interview!
I did not expect to see 19 Keys on this program, but I love it. I appreciate him on this platform, and I hope it expands who is exposed to his messaging. Even if folks do not agree with his entire point of view he is generally positive and I believe his goal is ultimately to help folks live better. It's fun to see these two shows intersect.
Y’all got 19 Keys! Legendary!!
Always cool to see someone I watch on another channel. Shows that creators watch each other and support when they can.
Omg 19keys is one of my favs!! Never seen this coming!!
Keys is really smart man damn I love people who use their mind not only their body
Drea Nicole was talking talking today. Loved all her points made
I like how he broke it down- I’m usually against the whole masculine & feminine energy concept! But this convo didn’t sound degrading for women
It’s not supposed to be can’t have one with out the other
Yes 19 keys and Queen Afua episode was so good. I loved this episode! This was so funny and informational. Y’all song at the end had me ctfu. 💛🌱🌼
Best episode yet bring bro back these women are very intelligent
Drea you was very close to 19 🔑 s 👀👀. You was well in tune to what he was saying. I respect it. Salute to you. Lex was in and out but did make it clear she didn't understand and was willing to take in. I respect it. Salute to you ladies.
I had no idea y’all was so intelligent … best episode so far
Facts ppl in the city add depression to everything once they learned the word jus like the word toxic 💯
19 keys is always the Truth, great episode featuring the God 🙏🏾
I loveee it, the topics were great and the humor in between shows how authentic ya ladies are with any guess that comes on. Lex we see the love for the beans 😭😂😂

@25:00 The Way He Said “That Ain’t Going Happen” 🤣🤣🤣
This was an episode !!! I love seeing the growth within this channel.
Thank you so much ❤️
Keys' ability to incorporate his Wisdom from years of studying so that these Attractive ladies can understand the Importance of True Knowledge & Fact is Important for Our future existence as a community.
I have four sons in 30's And 40's I would really love to have them listen to you speak. Can't help but admire what this young brother is doing. Also would love to see him in a interview with Boyce Watkins and Dr. Umar.
I genuinely love how y’all are a balance of mainstream and real life. Y’all bring all types of black people, from ALL different walks of life and tap in with the topic. It seems y’all take the same concept and questions to ask each individual guest y’all bring on. The basic questions and topics that trend 24/7 on social media. It’s only the icing on the cake that y’all have a sense of humor too 🫶🏾🫶🏾 looking at the comments and watching the podcast, I can see how some topics are controversial but these same conversations are NEEDED!!!!! I can’t wait to see how you guys continue to grow and reach a multitude of people ❤️❤️❤️ almost every guest y’all have, I become a follower and wanna hear more.
This was a great topic and guest 🥰 y’all will forever have a supporter in me! ❤️ the girls that get it, GET IT 😂😁
This is my first time watching one of y’all’s episodes ladies and i’m here for it. It’s real, raw and unapologetic. 💯❤️
Love 19Keys. And I like these Sistas too this was a good pod cast🖤
Ooohh laaaawd speak it. This the most realist conversation I've ever heard. Speaking these things in which I've been preaching/teaching for a long long time. You have to surround yourself with those whom have the same like mindset as you. In order to excel. Also having that same like understanding. This is deep.
Exceptional episode, didn’t want it to end 😩
Great episode 👏 I love this collab with 19 Keys and the men from "Earn Your Leisure". This podcast is definitely growing and I appreciate the depth of the content that you two are putting out. Keep being great and live in that "Big Womb Energy" 😆 ❤️
Y’all got one with this episode fr! I absolutely love the growth of this channel ♥️
& I can’t wait to turn up w y’all here in HTX @ the live show tomorrow 😭😭😭🙌🏽
I believe everything he saying bc I just got a new mentor and some of the same verbiage and conversation has been held between me and her and it makes so much sense. I have even felt the elevation being around somebody like her, most of these comment proving his point wholeheartedly when you can listen to the message and adapt to understand.
This was an insightful episode. Please keep doing y’all thing ❤️
Keys touched on the benefits of Semen Retention in the segment regarding focusing your Kundalini energy upward to stay focused on your purpose and maintaining discipline.
I need More of Yall Together as soon as Humanly possible. I Love all Tree a Yall 💞 amazing Job ladies proud to watch the growth and 19 Keys has a new Customer 😊
I’m loving this episode. So much substance and depth. Pay attention.
I love this so much, I don’t want it to end.
