Remember reading how strong Cullen was. Though not big he had second biggest bench press on All Blacks at the time. That's including forwards.
Those white AB's jerseys with the black collar were beautiful - almost better than the real thing. I don't know what has happened to jersey design in the modern era.
Engineering definitely has improved, no more rag dolling but yes designers have taken the rainbow road towards its final phase of production

I remember when he stood up Norm Berryman, cracked on the pace on the outside, then beat the covering defense (I think it was Arron Mauger) with a wicked step and gassed the entire Crusaders backline to the try line. Living Legend
