- This is my honest opinion on how the Function of Beauty products worked for me! I'd love to know if you guys used Function of Beauty products and if you personally liked these products!

guys I know i do not have Coily hair. I did that in hopes it would give me more moisture in my dry dry hair. I live in Arizona. You will have to get function of beauty for yourself and try it. I still do not think it’s worth the price just to have purple or pink conditioner 🤷🏾♀️
they don't know what they're talking about. even if you picked your hair type as coily, it shouldn't make your hair dry. if anything it would make it oily or weighed down.
Kenzie Taylor it is pretty expensive because its customized tho i do respect ur opinion maybe it doesnt work work on ur hair or there is an ingredient that ur hair doesnt like but anyways yeah
I hated my first formula too at first, but i told them about it and they sent me another formula for free. The first formula i got made my hair extremely dry, like straw, but the second formula i got was A LOT more hydrating and nurishing. They help you pick out new hair goals, because some of the goals don't go well together, which they don't tell you on the website.
Mrpeachees did you chose "hydrate" for you first set?
They should tell you on the website so it saves the hassle
Everyone has their opinion on it and I do agree the price range is a bit much. However, your hair is curly not coily so it may have not worked with ur hair because of that misinterpretation
Yeah love, but if that is the case her hair should have been more moisturized. Products made for curly/coily hair has more hydration the tighter your curls get.
I just ordered this product and coincidently I've selected the same customizations as you (not colour and scent). However, we don't have the same curl pattern or texture. I'd actually say you're more likely to fall into the "Curly"hair type, rather than Coily. Just my opinon. Will share how I get on with the products. Kind of wish i came across this before I ordered.

I like the concept of their website and customization but FOB definitely needs to be more upfront with customers about the hair science behind each hair goal... some of the hair goals don't mix together at all and a lot of people don't know their true hair type (density and texture) because of misinformation. Some people will think they have dandruff when they really just have buildup and need to clarify their scalp but will click on dry scalp when taking the quiz. Now they have 2 products that are too oily and heavy for their hair. In watching all these reviews about hair drying out and people losing their hair it's clear that FOB should be educating consumers a lot more about what ingredients are added for each hair goal and how some ingredients will cancel each other out. :/ I feel like they'd have a lot less people 'cancelling' them or wasting their money on products that don't work well.
You hair is curly not coily so i think that play a big rule, it was like me i have a 3b/3c hair and i choose coily it did not work because the website also tell you, DESCRIBE YOUR HAIR and curly its for 3a, 3b, 3c and coily if most of your hair is 4a,4b,4c with this type of product you have to be expecifict you can’t be wrong in one thing because they costume for the expecific hair you described
Also if you hair is dry I recommend free fragance because no extra product is add to give it the color you choose
I stick with Aveda. Ever since I discovered their hair care products I rarely use anything else. I like listening to reviews before I try anything new. Thank you! 💜
MZ LEE...l agree. This thing made my hair fall out instantly. Doily and hydrating is what l chose...this company is horrendous
i too have coily hair, it worked amazingly for me. maybe some of the things that were personalized just didn't mix well. but i would agree that its not worth $50 unless your super passionate about your hair or rich XD . i love my hair so i tried it and loved it but $50 IS a lot.
Chewy Cherry yes I agree, I think what I did maybe just didn’t work good for my hair, maybe it was the fragrance. I’m not sure 🤷🏾♀️ I’m glad to hear it worked well for you 🥰
$50 dollars for shampoo and conditioner is nothing. I spend $50 dollars on just shampoo, and another $50 for conditioner. I also spend $60 on serum and $44 on protein spray. I'm not even rich. It's important to use natural hair products, because the cheap stuff creates build up on your scalp, which suffocates your hair follicles and causes balding. I'm ok with been cheap on a lot of things, but hair care isn't one of them.

Thank you for your review hun!! I finally did a review and demo of function of beauty on my channel and I am happy that I decided to try it out because there were mixed reviews about it.
I found the product actually increased my hair shedding compared to Joico, it did make my hair feel softer than before though.
I 100% agree, these products are so overpriced and my curl pattern starightned significantly and my hair had no volume. When I used shea moisture again, my curls bounced back to their beautiful, natural state

Doesn't work for Caucasian either. Ordered this a couple of years ago, I have very fine hair and ordered a formula to volumize. The scent was nauseating, it did absolutely nothing for volume. I've used better Suave formula's. And it's expensive!

Thank you for being honest! 😌I got my function of beauty and it’s not amazing as people have made it to be. I kind of sad😞 I don’t really think that it is made for colored girls hair. Tbh

I have 3c hair and Shea Moisture it’s just too heavy for my hair, my hair never feels clean.
I don’t use Shae moisture anymore either. I’ve recently switched to Ouidad products
@@KenzieTaylorlovekenziie I can find anything that 100% works with my hair, plus we’re on a budget. We’re a family of 7, so I have to find something that works for all of us. I’m pretty sure I also have a scalp issue.
My sister uses it and she has wavy hair and it brought out her curls a lot more. Some people say they get hairloss but it's most likely cause they said they had an oily scalp when it really wasn't oily
Yeah I mean my hair is curly and thick i feel like it's lightened it up a bit so my curls could curl better. And my hair is less tangled and frizzy. I feel like my hair grew faster too. I've only used it for 4 months but when I did the first wash I felt so clean and my hair didn't feel gross on day 2 like it usually did.
And I have not lost a lot hair. I've always lost some but no different than how much I am now.
Maybe you needed a different formula
Coily is for kinky hair that needs to be stretched it definitely was a hydration overload that is possible for fine hair only coarse hair needs extra hydration doesnt look like you know what youre doing with ur hair

girl, you do not have coily. you have curly hair. I am sure you have your natural hair in the video. That is probably why it didn't work.
