I would open a couple high interest savings accounts. Home repairs (dishwasher and roof) large home purchases like the bed. One for car maintenance and one for the one month ahead/emergency fund. Make your long term savings work for you!
That's a really good idea, thank you! 🥰 We do have one high interest savings account where we keep our property tax savings and I suppose I can move other category savings into there and keep track on a spreadsheet. I've been making online deposits when we reach $500 in a cash envelope. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Depending on what bank you use you can open more than one if you need to. You can also use fake money if you need a physical representation of your savings 😊
