Here is my updated room for decoration and storage ideas for the office, vanity, and closet. I was hands on with my room design from painting, decorating, hammering, and building my "dressing room" with some help from my fiance because he's tall to install the closet.

FYI: Instead of buying the Ikea Pax closet system that would have cost me $800 which is not mobile because I will be moving and it would be tough to break the freestanding closet down to take with me. I decided to go with the ClosetMaid closet for $250 & you can custom it at Home Depot. I spent a total of $1200 from the closet system, diy project supplies, paint, large mirror, wooden hangers, decor, tools, & storage. I purchased 95% that is in my room with the updates & the rest were gifts from my fiance. I know many have been asking what I do for a living. I'm a freelance makeup artist/stylist, care taker, & pharmacy student turned business student.

Question: When you move what will happen to the closet? If you take it off, the room will have a bunch of holes in it. I want to change one of the rooms in my house into a closet but we're moving in 2 years and we don't want to damage the walls severely.
you can always fill in the holes. once you fill them in, you can retexture the walls and then repaint. it'll look like nothing happened. even though your comment was made 1 year ago, I hope I helped.

Her closet is like the size of my room
because it probably is actually a bedroom....that she converted into a closet. its very common to do that these days with a spare bedroom.

That is literally the coolest thing I have ever seen.
It's a hollywood vanity table top. I ordered it when there was a sale online and Since i didn't have a wall to mount a mirror, this was my best option. You can go for a cheaper version buy buying a mirror to place on the wall and add light strips on the side.

You can buy a kit but I bought things separately to suit my wall design. You should visit home depot or lowes for the large closet system options.

We can tell that you worked hard on the decor and organization, and I like that, because it shows how much you value your things. Many beauty gurus have even more stuffs than you, but they don't store it proprely and it doesn't make the room enjoyable at all. Loved your video :)

When i saw this video you inspired me so much , Soon me & my fiance will be moving together in april i was going towards a 1 bedroom apartment but when i saw this i instantly changed my mind to get a 2 bedroom so i can create my own closet & office , i love you for this video lol & my fiance does to now that my clothes & shoes wont be taking up room lol :-)

Expensive, but pretty :) I love the trouser/skirt hangers. The only downside is that it looks a little more like a store than a room.

What year are you in? First off, start by cleaning out your room and donate things you don't wear/use/need in a year. You will have more space and work on a room theme/color theme and go from there=) Think what you want to be more organize and how you want to see it. If you need more help, just email me. Thanks
