I wanted to do that this year since the Helicopter Crew saved my life.Last year I got my bike about 1 week before the ride & being a Trident 🔱 run in RPM was 4000rpm which is 80kmh & I was only doing short stints & 80kmh for first 500kms so couldn't go cause didn't want to ring brand new bike out. Also had to travel 65mins to get there. This year Social Cruisers didn't have a run for it unfortunately & missed out. They been doing it for years too.I saw them in Danniverke when coming back from a Service for bike in Palmy & asked when it was cause they had it in late March & it was March 8th.They said not doing it this year & was gutted.I think 🤔 another club I don't know may have taken it over but I'm not sure.I went on the Cyclone Gabrielle Relief Fundraiser Ride put on by Bay MC last year & Easter Egg hunt with Social Cruisers but I don't think 🤔 that happened this year either & saw nothing advertised.I will donate some money when I get the letter in mail from Rescue Helicopter they send out.I will still keep a eye 👁️ out cause a Helicopter Rescue ride might still happen but in a different month from usual.I went on the Ride of Remembrance Ride for Anzac 2 Saturday's ago & was 120 odd bikes & was right up front about 9th in que it was awesome ride.Since I was so far up front I pulled over & filmed 🎥 the pack going past & they stopped about 100meters up road at gas ⛽ station then I was near the back for next stage of ride. Great fun riding in pack & they pretty safe & organized. The Bay MC boy's go hard out at front I hang back to ride in my comfort zone about 20-25 back from front & a couple minutes behind once been riding for a bit & in countryside their front boy's are gone & on big cam Harley's,new Triumph Rockets & Thunderbird Storms etc & big Japanese bikes.Just cruise along at my own leisure & comfort zone & you find your place in the pack to your pace. Social Cruises will wait at intersections & slow down to bunch up again & block intersections until there's a gap & pace isn't much more than limit.Cars in town got a wait ages for 100-160 bikes to go past🤣.
