Hi i brought this carrier and my son is crying everytym i put him in he turns red and hot. I thought the cotton aseema would be good for the summer but it clearly not working

Can you please tell the functioning of each adjustment? I mean, what does tightening the shoulder strap do, what happens when back strap is above underarm level etc..and how to adjust each straps according to baby's height? I can't get the neck support to get under baby's neck no matter how much adjustment I do. It stays right up covering the head almost. Please help.
