I'm so jealous of people that got to see them frequently in Canada, I only got to see a few shows when they played in the Southeastern US with a few hundred miles of Atlanta. Such incredible shows and energy, I love Alexisonfire.
Quite possibly the most stressed out, front line security I have ever seen at a concert. They look like they were staring down a Mongolian invasion, not just helping people over the fence lol.
Chad Parrish This was also the only night that they had a second barrier in the middle of the crowd to reduce on the moshing, circle pits, rushing the stage etc. We think they were still a bit paranoid from Vancouver a few years ago at the Olympics when the front barrier collapsed. So yeah they were prepared for a wild crowd.
I was right up at the front for this set and to be fair, I think people were crowd surfing the entire set. From the size of the crowd from what I could see, it possibly was a Mongolian invasion!
This band.... i love how they just do what the fuck they want... and how dallas and george openly admit to how announcing an official break up/farewell was a mistake (not a mistake but, not necessary)... then theyve just been picking up shows here and there since, then all of a sudden, social media goes black and theyre writing new music and headlining fucking alexandra palace in london... AOFFFFFFFFF
Monica, thank you for posting these videos. The Warped Tour from 2009 all the way to this gem in 2018. I love Alexisonfire more than words will ever be able to describe. When I'm having a shitty day I can turn this video on and remember life isn't too bad.
Well they have sort of been back together over the past few years and only doing festival dates here and there. BUT just yesterday they posted a teaser clip on instagram. Looks like a new single will be dropped in a couple weeks (!!!) Rumors of a new album as well (let’s hope at least and everything else that follows!).
This is incredible
Love that they perform with so much passion.they look gracious to be back!
