    Does it control the attitude of the apparatus along all three axes, or only one?

    the weight of the flying wheel based on what?

    Hi , can you help me how to control the servomotor ?

    so basically its speed is increased to counter torque by sensor no? depending on its tilt angle

      @dmitrysokolov8305  3 роки тому +1

      The flywheel speed is constant; the counter torque is created by applying torque to the flywheel's gimbal.

      @@dmitrysokolov8305 just a doubt so if speed is constant then after adding weight how come after some time it returns to its position? won't that will reduce its counter-torque?

    • @vedantaher9646
      @vedantaher9646 3 роки тому

      I mean it changes its direction after adding weight to counter torque no?

    Hi, may i ask what body are you estimating the velocity on? Because the disk suppose to stay in constant speed right ? Thank you!

    • @dmitrysokolov8305
      @dmitrysokolov8305  7 місяців тому

      Yes, the disk is spinning with constant velocity. I was estimating the frame (the cube) tilting velocity.

    Hi, I have one question about that setup; is the flywheel made of steel or aluminium?
    Thank you

    What does model-based mean in this context? Is the differentiator somehow based on a model of the physical system?

    • @dmitrysokolov8305
      @dmitrysokolov8305  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, model-based means that the differentiator works ontop of a physical model, check the paper in the video description, section 2.

    Now we need to train a neural network to compensate bouncing)

      Why neural networks over other tools?

    From where I should buy this bldc motor?

      You mean to drive the flywheel? Use any cheap bldc motor designed for copters. I have used a chineese X3108S motor ($25 including shipping)

      @@amartagala8350 Don't mean to butt in but Amar I have a free booklet you can download on how to build a two wheel vehicle. It isn't as slick as Dmitry's work but it includes a link to an excellent book by Mori, Hiroshi on the subject. demej00.wordpress.com/2020/02/08/self-balancing-gyroscope-two-wheeler/
