for a horror flick its underrated in my opinion. and now knowing everything was made of wax for real makes it pretty special sfx wise. hardly any CGI mostly all practical effects.
this is why this movie stays as one of my favorite horror movies ever. the attention to details are just amazingg!!! im actually surprised when the producer mentioned they also did ghost ship and gothika cause those two movies are in my favorite list too❤ no wonder the plot are all interesting, they're created by the same people❤ i wish we get more movies like those these days. i really miss it.

I finally got around to watching the movie, I thought it was awesome. I've got a bit of a phobia of wax statues and mannequins... But this was cool. Eerie and graphic, but cool.
always wondered how the did the SFX with melting sculptures and even walls and objects. turns out. its actual wax. very cool. of course the acting in this film is pretty bad (obvious paris hilton pr placement) but this flick doesnt deserve the bad rotten tomatoes rating it has.
This movie is a masterpiece. I don't care what anyone says; you just need to watch this; watch the film, and it's just a masterpiece.
