I've seen this drive on a couple other videos, but having fall colors makes this extra special, plus the turnoffs to view the vistas. And that view at about 17:40. Whoa. What I find particularly astonishing on this drive is the lack of guard rails at certain points because it looks like an 80˚ drop just only a few inches away from the paint stripe on the edge!
This is definitely a road where you have to pay attention to your driving. One wrong move and you're over the cliff. I've been driving in the mountains all of my life, so I'm okay with it. However, this would be quite an experience for someone who has never driven in the mountains. I had previously been over this road at least once before, but never in the fall.
