There actually IS a version of Mitch and Scott doing Defying Gravity. It's on their Superfruit channel. Mitch takes the part of Elphaba and Scott is Glinda. It's really fun and awesome.
yah i actually reacted to that one a long time ago. i was just happy that this one also exists since its 2 different styles of covering it. The superfruit version was more comedic. still amazing. but it had a comedic undertone to it compared to this one
I was at this show in Orlando and it was amazing. This part, the whole show, amazing. They do a different audience bit for each show, a lot of times just Scott but sometimes others will join in. They’re all posted to TT and IG, and I think there’s a compilation video with all of them someone made on YT.
You asked about AJ Sealy--he's a composer/arranger/orchestrator and friend of Scott's. (I believe Mario Jose introduced the two of them to each other.) Their biggest collaboration so far is the Heartbeat Symphony which is the opening piece in Disney's "Luminous--The Symphony of Us". This is the closing show each night at Epcot in Disney World Florida which premiered in early December. Scott and AJ both have posts about seeing it for the first time at Epcot on their IG. There are a variety of YT videos from others of the full Luminous show, but they don't specifically single out the Heartbeat Symphony.
I love this and have seen it before- sorry it isn’t what you were hoping it was (a Mitch thing)! I also hope you will listen to some of Mitch’s solo work as Messer. My favorites are Angels Pray, Love Supply, Oblivion, Agony, Velvet, Halfway. 😊
Here is the medley from the live stream. It is actually a 5 song medley, so there are 2 other songs before it. ua-cam.com/video/2HcEtB-BPpg/v-deo.htmlsi=PG6bgi_49nZlG1qm
I love this. I've played on repeat so many times I've lost count. Lol The medley you were looking for is this one. Also one of my favorite lives. ua-cam.com/video/2HcEtB-BPpg/v-deo.htmlsi=inZ-pFZ0GSpqiQa6

LOVE how they interact with the crowds, it is so special to be in the audience when they do these things.
