That’s how us drummers keep time sometimes when not using double bass…nothing new here dude watch Taylor Hawkins from the foo fighters, his foots going constantly !
I always found that very complicated for me, as a self taught drummer i have a lot of bad habits including not marking time with my left foot on the hihat. Probably that's why i don't have great tempo consistency. I sometimes instinctively move my leg during some parts, but definitely not whole songs
2:26 was not expecting the fill to be that. Very unique.

I get to see Northlane live for the first time next month. Been around since Discoveries and I'm SO excited. Nic drew me and my friends into the band he's a large part of the reason I'm still around - such beautiful clean drumming that is a joy to listen to and jam along with. Cheers for all the good memories Nic!
Yess ive been waiting years to see them. Alpha Wolf, Fit For a King, Kingdom of Giants, Northlane.. just got my tix a few days ago,
Have a lot of fun! Saw them open for Architects in Germany and it was huge!

Any drummer that can consistently keep their metronome timing on the hi hat deserves all the praise. While I wasn't the biggest fan of Obsidian, I can always respect a good drum playthrough.
Only discovered these guys late last year. Makes me even more proud to be an Aussie.

When this song first released i thought it was OK then over the last year its become one of my favorite songs ever.
Honestly why am I the exact same thought it was so mid when it came out and after hearing it a bunch it’s one of my faves from the album and even when they played it live it slapped

i like how everything is angled slightly away from you, helps with equipment longivity but also looks super wicked!
