    Awesome team and farm. Please update us more frequently. You show the human side too, like to be a good farmer, you should be a good mechanic too and keeping equipments clean and checking on them saves you a lot of time and money

    Great to see how a lot of people work smart, efficient and hard to make sure that around the world breakfasts, lunches and diners can be served.
    I'm not a farmer myself, my grandad used to be one. Somehow I always feel attracted towards agriculture.
    Keep on posting, I'd preferably watch this when it comes to watching tv or Netflix.

    So thanks to Farming Simulator 19 I started watching these types of videos. Boy am I glad I did! I've got a whole new love for farmers! I liked farmers before, but I didn't realize how much shit they have to go through. I (a city boy) have worked on a llama and alpaca ranch and enjoyed that. I worked on someone else's farm putting square straw bales in a shed and that sucked! Those were before I started playing the Farming Sim and watching the videos. I now know that I just barely scratched the surface with the stuff I did. Keep it up and much love from Illinois, USA!

    I work in the shop for a Case dealership, and I have to say it is so, so nice to see someone blow out their air filter now and then.
    If any of your people are prone to carpal tunnel issues, I recommend getting a powered grease gun. It has saved my hands and wrists a lot of pain.

    • @skydom1000

      Andrew Hecker maybe it's just a dumb question but isn't the filter to be blown from the inside out?

    • @AndrewHecker85
      @AndrewHecker85 7 років тому +2

      Ideally, yes, but sometimes they get so plugged that you have to start from the outside to break some of it loose before you can do a final clean from the inside. But when it's as loose as pictured in this video you're not really running any risk of blowing it through the filter element anyway.

      by the look of that one, seems a good idea to keep a few spares in the pickup for quick change over, if they are worth saving, spare hand can clean them later

    I grew up in large town outside of the largest city in New Hampshire in the USA. As I've grown older (35 now) I've wanted to become more and more self reliant. By that i mean growing my own crops, livestock, etc on my own land. Obviously that's not going to be at the scale you have there at your farm, but videos like this really get me motivated to do more on my own land. I have 33 acres up here in the white mountains of NH and just can't wait until spring comes so I can see what i can do with my JD 5065E i just got this past year =]

    • @pierremarcoux9465
      @pierremarcoux9465 5 років тому +1

      Hi EweChewBrrr. Rusting (oxidization) is very slow below freezing. The problem is that when water freezes, it expands under great force and can bend or break steel. I live in Ontario and a lot of salt is used on the roads (salt lowers the freezing point of water, so ice does not form as quickly) and the salt and snow/ice/water causes cars to rust quickly!

    • @EweChewBrrr01
      @EweChewBrrr01 5 років тому

      @@pierremarcoux9465 Thanks for the info. I never knew any of that. I forgot about ice expanding but even then I never knew that it could cause big damage. I'm in Queensland Australia and it never snows here. Closest thing to snow I've seen is hale.

    Great farm you have.
    Buy new air filters for your engines at least twice a year and clean them ONLY FROM INSIDE TO OUTSIDE.
    You'll save huge amount of money doing that.

      Why?

      Tim Hammar because there is a pile forming on the header. You'll see right before the next scene there's a beaver hut under the tractor. Not somthing combine drivers enjoy.

      +Maitland U you can reverse the feeder house because of piles, you dont make piles because you can reverse the feeder house. 😄
