Brilliant! If you could do something like this it would be amazing. I wouldn't waste your time with a bar. Use it as a storage, rental spaces, something could sell some of the outbuildings. 5.5 million my guess. There's so much traffic going through that area you could make a truck stop it is non-ending what the possibilities of this could be. This is phenomenal, damn! Great eye Tom.

So did you try to talk the owner down on price and buy the airport ? I see some possibilities with the property but it would have to be more in the 1 million and change ballpark.
No I had to pass on this property, they ended up selling it to a land developer

The future for developers is always there for cleared land.
My ideal use would be an air community like Jumbo Air in Florida.

Jets like your talking about take 4000’ runway, sign said 2800’ hanger space here in IL I’m paying $170 mp plus electricity, same single t hangar in chicago is $600 month. Large corporate hanger like that in decatur il is 56k year rental but has access to 3 long paved runways
