Much credit should be given to Adam West, who looks sensational in his early 80s. Although he had difficulty in avoiding typecasting after the success of the Batman series, he is appreciated by a generation of fans and he has always maintained a good attitude about the role and his contribution to the show. Christopher Nolan should have created a cameo for West in the Dark Knight Trilogy of Batman films.
Seriously though. These guys are the best. I grew up watching the original Batman and Robin re-runs every day after school. Along with Speed Racer of course!
I love both those guys. So Burt's put on a few pounds, he's still the same inside and that voice and those eyes. I know few people including myself who haven't as we've aged, and that doesn't matter anyway. I already don't look as good as Adam looks at 85 years old as of the time of this recording. And of course they shall always be THE Batman and Robin. Really enjoyed this.

I just got done watching this whole tv show series on youtube... It's awesome to get to hear the behind the scenes stuff... While watching this, I also noticed that this show was first made before my parents were born...
It was the first show in color on TV, that could be really appreciated, as this was the time[the mid-'60s] when color TV, really started to be perfected. BTW- I do find Adam West, to be a bit creepy; as he is never really serious, nor is he ever really totally tongue in cheek, either. I don't know if, it's an act, or who he is. I was 10 when the series came out.
btw- I don't think, that a director today, would allow 'The Joker' Frank Gorshin, to laugh like that on Network TV; EVEN if, it were a drama. It would be just a bit TOO creepy, I think.

We moved to a new neighborhood in 1966 and I walked next door to see if there were any kids my age and a boy was inside the garage with a towel safety pinned around his neck jumping from the attic of the garage to his dad's car, and I asked, what are you doing? And he said, I'm Batman. Then his dad came out and made him stop jumping on the car

@42:30 It's true, I have been inspired by the show . In one episode Robin said "Holy Robert Louis Stevenson!" I had no idea what robin was talking about . I look it in the encyclopedia and found that Stevenson is an English writer . He wrote "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde" since then I have read most everything he's had published . His Book and poems are very enjoyable .
Sometimes I just don't get Burt Ward. He's complained a lot over the years about how he got hurt all of the time on the show, but if you look carefully, most of the time it was his stunt double who did the stunts in question. Now he's acting like his screen test as Dick Grayson was vague enough for him not to tell he was in Batman. If you see that test, it's stated quite clearly that they're doing Batman.
Why doesn't anyone ask how hey ended up on the "Legends of super heroes" TV show as Batman and Robin in the late 70's early 80's? I always wanted to know the answer to that.
I can't feel sorry for how Burt Ward has let himself go. In 1989 I was writing a book on Batman and I was given contact information to do a telephone interview with him. The publisher was going to pay him $250 for a 30 minute interview (and it is highly unusual for a celebrity to be paid for such a simple interview) but when I called him, he said that he'd decided that $250 wasn't worth his time and he hung up on me.
Would people stop about Burt's weight? Like come on. It's his choice just get over it. I agree with BookWorm. Burt was my first crush and I'm proud :))) I don't see why everyone is so annoyed by his weight
