This is the same problem I have but I felt like I couldn't do anything like a wolf cut with my hair just because of how thin it is, but when I looked up hairstyles for thin hair, a bunch of 50 year olds came up with pixie cuts💀

After I had my son I last so much darn hair and took awhile to get used to but what helped me is I stopped heat styling cuz I noticed when I did it looked like way more thin. Now it looks fuller than it is. And blunt short/medium cut gives it the illusion of fullness. And fresh ginger juice scalp treatments gives it some lift and shine and strength no lie it works

Hi there, it does look like the additional supplements are working so keep it up. All those baby hairs that are in the front is new hair growth. So stay consistent and be patient and you may find your hair volume will continue to improve. Well done with the cut, looks amazing! ❤️

These fresh or dried herbs stop hair fall and speed up growth rosemary sage coriander thyme orange clove aloe make a tea with them by soaking them overnight in distilled water strain and apply it to your scalp daily just keep it in the fridge, you can also add a bit to shampoos and conditioners also use organic shampoo and conditioner harsh chemicals in regular shampoos contribute to hair loss. Aloe and henna helps thicken hair, hope this helps

Layers are actually not the best for thin hair. I would recommend a blunt cut with maybe some slight face frame layers. Because a lot of layers make the ends look sparse and the hair even thinner, a blunt cut would make it look thicker.

tl;dr: after a traumatic event it takes 6-9 months for hair to start to fall out and it takes 18-24 months to gain it back. that's about ~3-4 years of hair evolution.
people don't take the pandemic seriously, but one of the reasons that there's an actual and verifiable increase in hair loss amongst the population is because of the past 3 years; just like how therapy rates have skyrocketed.
have patience and trust your body's biochemistry, feed it well and take in valuable nutrients. you'll be ok again (I'm going through the same thing, hence finding your vid). 🌟
just to give you a piece of mind, if it applies to you: I'm an immunobiochemist, and even tho I'm not an M.D. my knowledge of the body's biochemistry and molecular function is superior to any given M.D. that's not versed in research (most M.D.s never keep up with research).
after a priod of substantial grief, trauma, depression, hormonal changes due to depression and other neuroinvasive anomalies, it takes 6-9 months for hair to start to fall out pathologically (meaning not what your body estimates as your natural shedding amount).
and it takes roughly 18-24 months to regrow the hair, especially if it's not due to hormonal changes.
hormones modify our biochemistry more fundamentally than other physiological traumas. for example hair loss due to pregnancy. some people don't get their full hair profile back. it actually changes their hair. but a stress related hair loss can recover almost fully.

Get your thyroid and hormones all checked. That could be why your hair is thin. If your hair is falling out that sounds like thyroid issues. Even get your estrogen etc etc done too. Also take vitamin d and iodine and any other nutrients you could be lacking. But I would say it’s hormonal issues causing it. Good luck 👍

Just a word of advice: go to hairdresser. There' a reason why they exist. It's not that expensive and you get it done properly. Cutting your own hair when you have no idea how to do, and with kitchen scissors, is a no no. It's like doing surgery with a kitchen knife and no anesthesia.

Hair cutting shears are really inexpensive and worth it.

Comparing cutting hair with kitchen scissors to having surgery with a kitchen knife is dramatic af and extremely ridiculous. Its just hair length… it’ll grow back... its not that serious fam 🫣😅
