- Prince Harry was reportedly upset by what his friends describe as a 'snub' from King Charles during his recent visit to the UK.
There was speculation about a reunion between Harry, 39, and his father during his three-day trip to London to mark the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games.
According to those close to Harry, he had requested to see his father well in advance of his journey from California, but was told that the King was 'too busy' despite being nearby at times.
Royal protocols dictate that Harry must give 28 days' notice to the King and the Home Office for security requests. Initially, Harry had requested to stay in a royal residence but later opted for a hotel.
A spokesperson for Harry stated that Charles was too busy to meet, acknowledging his father's schedule and expressing hope for a future meeting.

Exactly. The story that the King was too busy came from Hazbeen's PR people. There has been no official response from the palace but there are reports that 'sources' at the palace say there was no request from Hazbeen for a meeting with the King.

Harry was in the UK multiple times for his lawsuits. His father was going through treatment and had no public appearances to do at that point in time. If Harry really cared to see his father and wanted to see his father he could have any one of those times. He could have done it even before the diagnosis when he was going there for his trials but he didn't.
