I think MD having even just 2-3 more episodes would fix most of the issues that are present in the show. The only thing is that it would be a lot of time/money for an indie show. Also, I just want to say, Intermission is awesome and very well written, it does perfectly what it set out to do, and it fills in the gaps of the show well.
it 100% does, the show feels like a skeleton right now, no muscle, no internal organs no skin, no nothing, filler episodes and side stories are a must for murder drones
It would have been cool to see the rise of the murder drones and the fall of earth. A whole season focused on N, V, J, Cyn and Tessa.
I know that and everyone want this but it's over for murder drones but I hope the last episode will be unforgettable

I say it deserves episodes in between the main episode.
It does more than deserve more episodes, I personally think it needs them cause I would like more episodes that either flesh out the more unexplained bits of the story, or simple fun filler episodes cause even though they can be unbearable, they add even more fun. Anyways, I am gonna be continuing my own MD story line with my own OCs as I have been doing for over 2 years

murder drones deserves at least 3 seasons AT LEAST rn they are working on The Gaslight District so it might take a while hoping ep8 releases this year
I definitely think it needs more. While I do think it needs a second season, as I don't think they can satisfactorily finish in one episode, it would have been amazing if Glitch had had the funding and personnel to have 12 episodes allowing for more time to show character development.

And yes, I do think that Glitch should have more like the in-between shorts or mini episodes/minisodes, or simply call it "intermissions", for putting between two main episodes such as filling in the missing gaps of the main timeline in order to add more suspense, intensity, and clarification of building it up to the season finale or connecting the small pieces of details to some of the final episodes as if they were hidden puzzles to point out major plots down the line and make it more sensible or comprehensible toward the last episode and whatever somehow or something. I don't know which ways would work for situations like this, but maybe put out the main episodes first and then put out the "intermissions" before the final episode (like intermission1/ITM1 would be a middle minisode for the main episodes of 1 and 2 or 2 and 3, and ITM2 would be for episodes 3 and 4 or 4 and 5 or something) or put them all out (for season 2) in a timely consecutive order like put out all mini and main episodes altogether or put out the first mini episode like ITM0 to start off the season and then put out the first main episode later and then follow up with ITM1 that might connect to the next main episode or the following future episodes or whatever. I'm not sure if that'd be considered as like cheating and/or stealing on Glitch's end where they could secretly watch some random MD theory crafting videos and make up some conjunctions from it to put on to their main short episodes without giving the rightful owners like the proper credits for it or they might not have enough time to create some "intermissions" to put out for season 1 before the finale, but they might consider on doing some intermissions for season 2 if possibly necessary or something. I don't know, just saying so yea haha.
I think it does because the show is so amazing and plus they should add 15 more episodes for the lore of Absolute solver.
There's this strange thing happening with the latest new series I've seen, and a lot of them cap at that "8 episode limit" which I think is very much not a good idea.
Shows like hazbin and MD had much potential to be so much more if they were given more time.
I had a really big issue with episode 4 - 5 time gap as it just felt so far, from coming back from camp, to N's memories.
I was really bummed when they just skipped to n's memories, I was actually excited to see how uzi would have dealt with these new abilities and how she'd have learned to use them.

Honestly in my opinion, Murder Drones is way too good to *not* have a second season and shows usually get more popular around the second season's release (at least the shows I've watched have)

I have doubts about gaps between episodes being up to few months. It seems much?
For almost every episode Uzi starts them with investigation or fight. Why would Uzi do nothing for months on end?
Doll could easily started the plan from before pilot. That would explain why Uzi didn't connect the deaths to her crazy ramblings for so many months. She didn't have them until end of episode 2.
Also it seems from 1st photo that friendship started with V being herself like for example: before pilot. Again she didn't stop intentionally murdering until middle of episode 3. She planned to betray Lizzy.
Still agree that having some "slice of life" and down time could be very beneficial for this fast-paced show.

As much as I like your ideas for these in-between episodes, I feel like your first story wouldn't happen _in-between_ episode 2 and 3, rather happen during episode 2.
Uzi being "banished" means doll can kill peole withouth Uzi noticing, and N being with Uzi and Thad means V has plenty of time for her sceme.
