+TmarTn it does kind of bother me that you failed to mention that this thing is a 1 hit kill in hardcore, and since the extra tactical perk is so cheap you can then have 3 lethal grenades with just one perk point spent.

TmarTn, this equipment is also highly effective when paired with Recon because of its large blast radius. Since the blast radius is so much larger than other equipment you have a much better chance to tag enemies.

glad you do so much research about the stuff you talk about, a thermo does 50 dmg and makes other explosives deal and extra 85% dmg for 5 seconds which means that if you throw it right before a normal uncooked nade you pretty much kill him if you get a hitmarker with both (only exception brings the perk tac resist which negates the bonus damage). it also adds usefulness because of the fact that it weakens the armor of juggernauts, maniacs and ballistic vests (we all ran into a juggernaut at some point with no equipment or class to deal with him). its very nice to have the thermaobaric grenade + extra equipment + c4 (or nades/semtex) to clear out enitre rooms and all of that for only 3 points. i just love it to clear out annoying snipers since you just need to throw some stuff on medium range and they are pretty much dead

I just started using this tactical last Friday just because I had extra squad points and wanted to buy something I can safely say I agree with TmarTn on best equipment. It also works well with the Canister Bomb too

Tmartn does is work with the launchers as well like the MK32
I tested it multiple times and it has the double range of a frag and is super effective if you have 2 of them tip: danger close don't do anything to your blast radius you dont need it for this grenade

Haven't used this in game but I'm surprised that they weren't made to be the most lethal. Thermobaric explosives, at least in larger form, are considered to be as powerful as nukes but without radiation, if I remember correctly. The guy in the video mentioned something about "pocket nukes" but it doesn't look like they deserve such a tittle in the game.

It may promote other lethals but the grenade itself isn't the best equipment, plus you still have to throw both of them to get a kill, the guy could just shoot you before you even get to throw the actual lethal grenade

What I do is pair thermobaric, double tactical, with danger close. In normal game modes 2 of em will get multi kills constantly
I find it useful for taking out weakened foes that are retreating.
Recon would also compliment this

If you use the extra tactical perk and throw both thermo grenades it'll kill the enemy and its super effective due to the large blast radius!!!

Thermobaric grenades should have been able to destroy sentry guns and other ground based streaks in one blast. That would make it more beneficial. But until then, it's useless.
smoke with the thermal scope on choke points in the map is a far more useful attachment.
Have that perk that shows where enemy's are when they are hit by explosives and have the tactician perk for more of them

Adande Richochet I have found a way to tell if a link is a screamer. If you right click anything and it says "open link in new tab" then it is a screamer. If it says anything else, then it is harmless.
