Go to the 7 minute mark and look at the spray pattern. It's uneven, look at the bottom where it looks like there's a line under where you just sprayed. The pressure needs to be adjusted on the sprayer. It needs more pressure so the paint comes out more evenly. Hope that makes sense.
Totally makes sense I thought the same thing. Was spraying a thicker bead on the bottom side. This sprayer doesn’t have a adjustment that I know of? Thanks for the comment!
My pressure washer was one of the best things I ever bought. You can do do much with one.
Totally agree!
With oil, humidity is a very big factor, and do a couple lite coats and keep equal distance on spray pattern. Look good considering
Yeh it was rough! Thanks for the comment Lem!
Next time use DTM (direct to metal) from SWP and a fine finish tip.
Thanks!
Looks really nice Red. I've been doing some painting with oil base. And you're exactly right, it takes forever to dry. I don't have any advice but hopefully someone will. I used rollers and brushes and had to keep backtracking to fight the runs. Humidity has a lot to do with drying. I painted my house barn red and trimmed with high gloss white. It took 36 to 48 hours for the white to get dry. The barn red dried within 6 to 8 hours and white seemed to never dry. At 38.00 bucks a gallon I thought I'd bought some bad paint. Maybe I Just gotta be more patient I guess. 👍
Oil base is a no go for me!
Thanks for the comment! Hopefully your paint job turned out good!
