@@vervideosgiros1156 Hey, how are you doing? I've been working on a project that took most of my focus, but I do try to still work on my French. I'm determined to learn, even if it takes a while. 😊
@@elizabethwhite1068 Hi! I'm glad you're working out your French! I'm a bit rusty with the writing, because I don't practice much. Sometimes people ask someone in the comments to translate interviews, lyrics of the songs and stuff and I'm less rusty already. For some reason I've always thought it was easier to write in English than in French without typos. Even though Portuguese is way more similar to French than to English (because Portuguese and French are Romance languages, even though not as similar as Portuguese to Spanish or Italian). French, even though isn't that easy to write, it has rules and when you know them, you just follow those rules. When I studied French at school, when I had tests, I was good at interpreting the text and in the essay, but the verbs were what I always found more difficult to write because of the "mute" letters/sounds. Even though the orthography in English is a bit "chaotic", I always find easier because it's a more "rounded" languages, with a lot of "o", "g", "e", and French is a very "thin" writing, with a lot of "i" and "l". I love both, I love languages (except for Dutch and northern european languages). Good luck on your projects!
I prefer her live version (NEU concert), it aint her best performance. But the musical accompaniment there was insane, nothing but just the piano, that Shes playing and her voice . Whats unique about her performance compared to the other epic performances that captivated me is that there were no vocal gymnastics, very high notes, belting, acting, and storytelling here. (You know the singer becoming the song.) But my gosh just her voice clarity and tone alone while singing the soft, and mellow song will be able to hold a grip on you...........like the voice of angel. Thats how powerful and captivating her voice is. Just like you, I am trying to rediscover her songs, and this one (her concert version) is one of my favorites. Her NEU concert seems to be light and mellow, while her concert in Montreal (songs like Caruso, Adagio, etc), Its more of the serious and virtuoso stuff. Its a must to watch both concerts to have a better understanding of how really good she as a singer but also how she connects to her fans and how the audience connects to her.(So mutually insane) She is really an Apex Performer.

Amico d'Italia. Just for the fun. Duo Gigi D'Alessio e Lara Fabian, un cuore malato. Bella canzone. Grazie dalla Corsica.
