Right or wrong (I.e., . . .???), this cut is a good example of why Rod Price (Foghat) considered Peter Green to be a (small) cut above Eric as a British Blues guitar player...
@@cgavin1 "Raw" is a good description of Rod's playing back then, at least on that song - which, perhaps surprisingly, I'd never heard before until just now. Despite our close friendship and frequent gigs together from 1993-1998, Rod spoke little of his pre-Foghat days (and not much about those either) and played only slide with me. But I'll never forget one occasion while "noodling" together at his Wilton, NH house his saying to me with his still thick Brit accent "I CAN play straight guitar, you know"...
Tengo una consulta, quisiera saber como se llama la canción del slow blues compilation 2015 del minuto 1:24:00. Ya que no lo puedo encontrar porque fue eliminado. Muchas gracias por tu contenido!
RIP Peter. As soon as I heard the news today, I thought of this track.

Rod was no slouch for sure. His playing on Death Valley Blues was something else entirely. Raw passion.
