I think Shaq lives a very disciplined life, due in large part to his military stepdad. He's big, but he also knows how to work. Rodman is naturally athletic and is a rebounding savant, but he's just disciplined enough for it not to all fall apart. Which is to say, not very disciplined. Gifted, undisciplined people always piss off their less gifted, more disciplined counterparts. BTW, other than the fact that Shaq was so big as to dominate everyone inside, was he really that good of a player?
