  • Motor City Music Years (episode title: Second City Sinners) was a three-part series looking at how Birmingham, the UK's City of Music in 1992, has lived up to it's title. Each of the programmes covered a decade from the 1960s to the 1980s. The first programme looked at the 1960s. Bev Bevan and Roy Wood of the Move, discuss the beginnings of the Brum Beat in the 1960s. This clip is part of the first episode, which was broadcast on Channel 4 on Thursday, 9th September, 1993.

Thanks for posting this. I taped this programme off the TV in '93 but then, unbelievably, my house got burgled one evening and the only thing that was stolen was our VCR machine, with the tape inside.
