I've never had to replace injectors. When I drove a diesel pickup, I always kept at least two bottles in the winter of some Howes or other diesel treatment in the back toolbox if I needed it.

Looking like the vacation mode, Yes the Howes was the answer to keeping the old 2120 John Deere working in the hay field for sure . Stopped the rough idle ,just wish it would get the operator off idle . take care Josh

The only time the fuel injectors went on me was when I worked for manitoulin transport in NWO, Canada. I was left on the side of the road for like 6 hours on a secondary highway they told me to park it and I was half loaded with freight. Thats what it's like being a company driver lol June marked my 9th year as a trucker! Josh! I love your videos makes me feel like I'm not so bad of a trucker lol My wife and I love your videos!! We have a son around his age too!
My wife and I traded our travel trailer in on a diesel motor home 4 years ago. I add Howes to the tank on every other fill up. Other than regularly scheduled maintenance, I have never spent a dime on repairs.

Injectors at in frame, six pack. 300k later #3 went Liberal six months ago and quit performing. $500 cash and carry for one. Found a shop along I-20 Abilene, TX changed it out for $180. Stock up on Howes anti-gel. Walfart has it for considerably less than the stick it to ya truck stops.
I had a 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser and had to replace the injectors and it cost me about $1,500. I believe the parts were about $1,200 and the rest of the repair bill was labour. l'Il bet using Howe's would have prolonged the life of my injectors! I was pleasantly surprised to see that Howe's Diesel Treat is available at my local Canadian Tire!
I've been using Howes Diesel Treat for over 6 years now in my 2016 John Deere X754 with the Yanmar 3 cylinder diesel (3TNM74) engine with excellent results. whether mowing in the summer, or plowing in the winter, I notice the engine starts easier and runs cooler than without Diesel Treat. I believe in quality fuel and the added lubrication to the fuel system will more than pay for itself in the long run. Knock on wood, I've yet to replace an injector, and am confident Howes Diesel Treat will extend that day that will come eventually.
Hey never used it before but had the cups in my injectors go filled and mixed all fluids cost me over 5k and 3 weeks down time and alot of trips back to shop for filter changes all in total shop bills and down time alot more than 5k love your videos 😊

I used the diesel treat this past winter and it ran smoother with our winter fuel. I've been looking at the diesel defender, anything for better fuel economy and smooth the injectors. I just haven't seen it north of the 49th parallel.
Yeah, fuel injectors would be very expensive. I’m not sure how much how much but you’re right they would be very expensive and then be the last thing I want to go out on my truck if I was a driver, which I would be if I was not disabled.
I have had a Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9 Cummins. I lived in Memphis Tennessee for almost 18 years and I used howes in my fuel tank also had my own 1999 Freightliner Century Class owner operator. I used it in it as well. Now I have a 1987 Ford F-250 with the international 6.9 idi diesel engine. I've replaced the injectors in it with the help of my friend who is a mechanic, he showed me how to do it. Each injector was 99.00 is I have 8 It has over 400 thousand miles on him I named him Old Smokie.. Although he doesn't smoke as much as he did when I first got him. Each injector was

Years ago my dad had injectors replaced on his Ford Pickup. I think that he paid around $3,000.00 at that time.

Never ever replaced injectors on highway truck or diesel pickups but always add AMSOIL diesel additi ves every fill up.
