I love this Lady and the young student!!!! Hearts totally in the right place!!!! congrats to all!!!
As a musician with vintage instruments I found this incredibly touching. Go Starla and reach for the stars!
We need more stories like this.
Amazing story! I absolutely love Christina Walevska! I am so happy she was reunited with her baby Berardel!
After selling my extraordinary Italian 1730 Newland Celoniatus cello, I performed on my second cello, my beautiful French Gand & Bernardel cello. It has such a big dark gorgeous sound and the prettiest one piece back! I love it!
I think however the time has come to sell it to a more active performer. I am retired from orchestral playing and it deserves to be played on by a younger cellist
Honest parents, compassionate cellist, talented youth - what's not to love about this story?
As I watched this I imagined playing cello again. Reminded me that I practiced something so beautiful.
The Cello has the most ‘human like aura’ of any instrument I’ve heard.
It also has exactly the same range as the human voice. The lowest note is a C2, bottom of a bass singer's range, and the highest note is often quoted as C6 (though some people quote a little higher), top of a soprano's range.
a sweet story, and real.
Such a wonderful Feel Good Story that came out of tragedy 🎭
I just saw the Breshers playing at the Oakland Airport. I came down the escalator into the baggage claim, surrounded by this beautiful music and realized it was coming from a quartet. I just found this video. What an amazing backstory of people being good to each other. You've all made my New Year brighter.

Question? DID THEY TRACE THE ACTUAL THIEF?
WOW!!! 😊👏🏾
Christine is such a magnificent cellist.
as a cellist I want the cello
I love surprise.
Plot twist her dad stole the small chelo
💋
It was so obvious in the story that the brother sold the cello after the father died and it was never “stolen.” I don’t know why the writer didn’t explore that. Guess she didn’t want to embarrass the old lady.
Not true.
What you mean is that it's a possibility.
