- Built for the range, the new P322-COMP is designed with a list of features that make the P322 platform even more fun to shoot. I just got one for my daughter for competition because it was the only truly ambi 22 besides the 502. I was a bit hesitant due to it being sig but man that lil pistol is amazing and eats everything! The charging handle is actually very usable.

I love Sig, but is a compensator really needed on a 22LR? Or does it provide much value? Maybe they should have called this P322 Competition if they are targeting competition shooters (my assumption).

Will this one actually get through a magazine without a malfunction.
Did you ever take time to find out how to PROPERLY load the SIG P322 magazines? Or did you assume you load them like ever other 22lr pistol mag then blamed the gun for malfunctions?
@ashawnc I have already gone through all of that. Yes I loaded them according to the instructions that was the first troubleshooting attempt. The gun is not reliable.
I’ve had mine for a lil bit now ran almost a thousand round through it and I can count maybe 5 malfunctions which came from improper loading

Will this model still have the same squishy plactic triggers. Also don't quit understand the purpose of a comp on 22lr other than looks.
It's for serious .22lr competition shooters that will pay for literally any advantage they can get, no matter how small.
Personally I think it's silly, like cowboy loads that make old school revolvers have basically no recoil.

I took a look at this in person and the thumb rest is only for right handed users.
Still waiting to see if Sig will come out with left handed parts, then i would consider buying this.

Needs an all black option, holster, and a way to remove the wing thing behind the red dot. I understand this is the Competition model, but they need to sell the compensator separately for the standard model, too.

I have a standard P322 and will say it is starting to break in nicely. I have become more finicky about how I load the mags. The pistol is really a lot of fun and allows me to practice sometimes a bit less expensively than the larger calibers. The gun seems to come back on target very quick and the need for a compensator I'm not quite seeing it. Guess I would like to shoot one and compare it to mine.

I really don't understand the whale fluke takedown lever. Wouldn't that at the very least present holster limitations (besides the one offered by Sig, DUH) and problems 🙄 Wonder if it'll be more practical and less finicky about ammo than the Mosquito 🤔 Might consider looking into it if there are replacement parts for the takedown lever and if the "racker" can be removed.
The problem in producing a specific purpose firearm ONLY, is if the customer doesn't intend to compete with it. Then it has more undesireable features that may not be removable/replacable, you lose that potential market share.
If the action is significantly better than the Mosquito and will function reliably with more brands of ammo, this might be a nice option. Again, only if the whale fluke and AR style charging handle can be replaced and removed, respectively. Just my opinion. YMMV
It's not meant to be a carry model. Judging by the features I think the "Comp" on THIS model is suggesting "competition" rather that "compensated" like the Xmacro-comp, for example. If you aren't shooting it in a competitive setting it prob makes more sense to buy the standard (and cheaper) P322. With that said, there are some... interesting design choices going on here lol. I cant imagine a .22lr slide is that difficult to rack lol, but in a competition i suppose every millisecond counts. Also cant imagine a .22lr needs much compensation, but whatever. Doesnt hurt anything i guess.
The 322 shoots just about any ammo without choking. For steel challenge and a couple other fields 22lr start from low ready instead of holster. That’s why I had my daughter start competing there. Grip strength limitations are the biggest hurtle for her so this would be amazing for controlling muzzle flip and that charging lever.

365 Marco is the Mexican edition and is known to rust if you do not store it in the original corn husk.
