My family and I were there 2 weeks ago. It's become tradition that whenever we are in Vegas we stop and eat lunch at the Silverton right before we hit the road back home to Utah. It's the not the best buffet but its decent priced and the food is good.
I really like how you show a wide price range of buffets on your videos. Sometimes the $9.99 buffets look better than the $21.99 buffets

Wow, I payed almost 8 Canadian bucks for a McDonald's Southern BBQ Chicken sandwich yesterday WITHOUT fries and a pop...that buffet is just amazing value for the money! Thanks for sharing. :)

Looks delish!
Seeing the Rice Krispies treats reminded me of a great desert item the local Ponderosa use to have; Rice Krispies treats made from Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles. Awesome!
decent choice, looked nicely cooked. That turkey looked great. Prices are fantastic. Works out to around £8.50 UK money, which buys you a Mcdonalds over here. So to have that all you can eat option is great value. The pies looked super good. Apple pie and ice cream cant go wrong and of course a rice crispie cake.

I went here for dinner when I was in Vegas for my first time a couple months back. I really enjoyed everything they offered. They had a chef preparing lobster tacos and they were amazing. I really liked the Seasons buffet. Thank you for making another vid here Derrick!

Great timing on the video Derek ! We'll be staying at the RV resort across the 15 for a night early next month, and were trying to decide which restaurant at the Silverton to have dinner at. The buffet still looks good, we enjoyed it for lunch a few years ago.

That's a wonderful lunch spread. I would start off with the chicken tenders, general saos chicken, and some lentil soup. My second time up, I would gorge on all of the great desserts (no guilt, no shame) :)

This place is pretty good, my office was just around the corner, so I would go there for lunch and dinner often..also won quite a bit of money at the 3 card poker table so the comps were pretty nice.

Been there a few times and I must say the brisket ain't bad
Ive had the brunch there and for the price it was pretty good
20 minutes - that's all it takes for bacteria to set in when food is not properly heated or chilled. It thrives at 5 to 60 °C (41 to 140 °F). Not saying you shouldn't go to buffets, just make sure it's around lunch/dinner time when the food is coming out piping hot or fresh
You sound like a barrel of laughs.
Last time I checked, you don't see people inside buffets dropping like flies. It's what you call immunity. In the Philippines, we let leftover rice inside rice cooker sit from morning until evening. Or those cooked in the evening until morning for fried rice. Same with other food. We only put them in the fridge if we know they are not going to be eaten that day. So far, no bacteria blah blah.
One thing about buffets, you see them being cooked in front of the people. With restaurants, you don't know what goes on behind the kitchen doors or how clean the kitchen is.
Didn't see you eat it! That's the best part.
FYI This buffet always has fish tacos for lunch and dinner And they are outstanding!!! better than a restaurant try them you will be surprised. Also if you join the players club you get a ton of gratuities for the month.
Hi there, another great clip. If you don't mind me asking, do you have some kind of regimen (i.e., follow certain steps) :) before going to a buffet! I mean eating that much gotta be a challenge.....

Decent place and a bargain for lunch .Gambling is above average no parking fees and not bashful on drink service .Few things that keep me coming back is a fellow cooks fish and or lobster tacos some days and always have roasted garlic .South point is another good place south of the strip .I understand there is a Golden Corral in Henderson so please review that place or I may after I visit this week

Other than the frightening looking Chefs Special , it looks like quality , not necessarily fancy high end offerings. Perhaps one of the best values I’ve seen on your channel.
Regarding you always taking fried chicken and mashed potato on your go around.... I think it’s a good idea. You have had it at dozens of buffets and it’s a good way to gauge the offerings. If you taste boxed potatoes or get a mouth full of grease on the first bite of chicken, you probably know what you’re in for

Just lunch everyday, except they open at 10 on Sundays for the Bellini brunch.

QUESTION Derek. I'm a coffee lover. Do you have an opinion of who has the best coffee at any Buffet?Do you like coffee? I haven't noticed if you have coffee with the deserts, or breakfast. Great coffee could tilt me in the direction of choosing a Buffet. Thank you and I really appreciate your videos
I often have coffee after dessert, and it's generally better the more expensive the buffet. No particular favorite though!

Just came back from there! Get your players card and print out your half off buffet ticket. Go for Bellini brunch and it's unlimited champagne! Two people eat for 10 dollars with open bar basically. Best deal in town.

Being someone who started going to Las Vegas in the early 1970s, and saw the beginning of the buffets there, this one kinda reminds me of those days. Good solid food, without the pretentiousness of the so-called 'upscale' (read WAY over-priced) ones of today. What's sad about MOST of today's Vegas buffets IS the price. $30 to $100 for a meal! What was it P.T. Barnum said?

My only complaint about buffet places is when they offer many different types of sauces and never have labels for the sauces. Why is that? Is it mystery sauce day (between the hours of 11 to 3) ? LOL

ah now im satisifed with my all you can vegas food review... hmm never really thought about the buffet until now. I do visit the pro bass shop often. The only thing I would try or looks delicious is the collard greens and brisket.... i need some sushi or some chinese dim sum. :) love the video.. can't wait for the next one.

If nothing else, for 10 bucks there is no pressure of eating to point of bursting. I could certainly find something tasty there and by the time I got to desert I would feel sorry for Silverton for ripping them off. 😆

Wish you would have mentioned the quality of the food. Some looked good, but without knowing how it tasted, was it hot, etc, it honestly doesn't help me at all!! I've been to far too many restaurants & buffets, both hi and not so high end where food looked good, but was overcooked, or had no flavor, or the food was cold, etc. Sure this looks like a lot of food for the price, but was any of it good, or just food to shovel in at a bargain??

But aside from the bone dry chicken (and I could see that, didn't need feedback there lol) NONE of the food was the same. Which kinda surprised me, since this was lunch & that appeared to be brunch. Do they vary that much day to day or was something different? And the food in this one looked light years better than the one you linked me to. Plus in that video, you only tasted 3 main items, one of which was pizza (not really what would make me go to a buffet, no matter how good or bad). Don't get me wrong, you've put up a great many helpful videos which I've appreciated. This one....just not as helpful as it could be.
