Really interesting pen, I don't think I would have given it a second look without the review. Thanks for taking the time to make these, and I appreciate the little Esperanto bit
Always love ur thorough reviews. Hadn't thought about this pen until watching this review. Only thing that I find negative about ur reviews is, that u continue to encourage me to spend my money on fountain pens, that I would have never considered, until u suggested them. (example Faber Castell Loom) ha!
I recently ordered the transparent demonstrator version. It's actually a different model entirely. It's even larger, with a wider section, and #6 nib. It's bigger than a Pelikan M1000, and feels fantastic in the hand. No ebonite though. It has very clear acrylic where the Koloro has the translucent acrylic, and a frosted acrylic similar to the Franklin-Cristoph Ice finish instead of the ebonite.
Thanks for review - the story about unscrewing the barrel was exactly the thing I would expect in my case :) . Plus, with such a company name I can see huge success in a certain group of people in Germany...
Thanks for the nice review! The koloro is a really interesting interesting pen. I've been watching this pen from the the goldspot for about a week and this review came out just at the right time!
Intriguing pen! For a future Q&A, I'd like to hear your thoughts about & preferences on various filling mechanisms, such as eyedropper versus piston version cartridge-converter etc.
for the question what is the wettest writing ink from diamines range of inks cos i have chocolate brown and it takes so long to dry just wondered if there was any others like this so i can avoid them
It certainly looks interesting. I'm wondering if you have used other eyedropper filled pens and whether you had any problems (leaking, burping) with them.
just wanted to say I enjoy your videos. have watched all of them and some more than twice. and they are responsible for me purchasing a lot of pens. :) thanks
What pen brand and or pen would you like to see brought back into regular production? Opus also makes a clear acrylic 88 that is a bit bigger with a #6 nib.
I'm intrigued that you like it so much you're thinking of buying it. I've been on the fence about it since the 1st time I saw it but I think it's growing on me. Thank you for the video.
I too would love to see the section made from ebonite, not so slippery and feels mush nicer in the fingers to hold. I'm In for sure, gorgeous almost teal blue clear sections and i just love Ebonite one of my fav's.
The clear demonstrator version has a #6 size nib. This is an interesting addition to the no frills eyedropper pen system! Thanks David and @goldspotpens
Like some of the other commentors have noted, it’s a shame ebonite wasn’t used for the grip section, the place most suited to having that kind of material. If the nib on that is anywhere close to the nib on my TWSBI ecos (#5 Jowo, right?), I’d take a needle file to the breather hole and enlarge it to a millimeter or so. It seems to soften the feel of an otherwise (almost) rock hard nib without it becoming flabby and squishy. So far, this has worked on all the non-Japanese nibs I’ve tried it on, but Pilot steel nibs of the metropolitan/kakuno/prera variety respond poorly to this modification. Considering that my chances of winning are slim to none, would you recommend this over a Vac700R as a daily writer/infrequent traveller?
Good luck in the drawing. I would categorize the Koloro as a good pen...and the Vac700R as a great pen. They both perform well, but the Vac700 is very high on my list of pens that provide the most value for the money.
Thanks! I'll look more closely into both pens while I'm at it. I hadn't given the Vac700/R much thought until now, other than it having that amusing vacuum filler.
I own about a dozen...and my best time is 48.6 seconds. Not the best time...it could use some improvement. One of these days I need to change up my methodology and get it consistently under 30 seconds.
I have seen the pen floating around the internet for quite some time now. At first I am not quite sure if it will worth the price tag. After seeing your video on what material they are made of and their performance, I think I might consider giving it a try!
Beautiful pen, and stellar video. Thanks!
Beautiful pen. Thanks for the review and opportunity
I'm in. Thanks for the opportunity.

Thanks for another helpful review. This pen is on my short list.
Very interesting pen! I'm intrigued by the high end eyedropper mechanism.
Beautiful pen!
The blue (and red) Opus 88 Koloro looks so good! I like that it has a deep blue color and isn't too light.
Interesting pen. Been eyeing it for a while.
Really interesting pen, I don't think I would have given it a second look without the review. Thanks for taking the time to make these, and I appreciate the little Esperanto bit

Looks like a very interesting pen, I saw it about a month ago and there didn't seem to be too much information about this. Thanks for the review.
I have got one with fine nib and it writes smoothly and neatly. A real bargain.

Gorgeous pen! :o
Modern yet old. Nice.
Very interesting pen! Great giveaway, thanks to you and Goldspot Pens!

Lovely pen!
Just got one of these, a blue one, with a broad nib and am enjoying it very much. The nib on this one is really very nice.
Nice review and pen!

I had been eyeing this pen for a while. Your review touched on all the questions I had about it. Thank you very much!
awesome review, greetings from Honduras
I like the look of the pen, the material it’s made of and the amount of ink that comes in that bottle.
Very pretty pen!
This pen looks nice and the filling mechanism is simple yet interesting. The nib size though..
Very sharp looking pen. Count me in.

Thanks for the review. Are you planning to review the PENBBS Fountain Pens?
Looks like a really interesting pen!
Nice pen and would love to try it out.
Also, if you fully untwist the plunger, you can draw it back to get it out of the way for filling.
Nice looking pen!
Great video and good pen for the price
I love eyedropper pens!
Great Review

I think it (pen) has an interesting background... and like the materials combination...
Great Video as always :)
Thanks for the review! I wonder how this compares to the Opus 88 Picnic?
Thanks for the nice review! The koloro is a really interesting interesting pen. I've been watching this pen from the the goldspot for about a week and this review came out just at the right time!
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. Interesting filling system. Question - what is your favourite filling system?
Very cool pen.
Intriguing pen! For a future Q&A, I'd like to hear your thoughts about & preferences on various filling mechanisms, such as eyedropper versus piston version cartridge-converter etc.

Good looking pen.
Hello.. thanks for reviewing the pen. I had been thinking to by one in medium and other in broad nib.. thanks
Looks like a cool pen
Thanks for the review. A Q/A for you, how do you judge inks? What are the characteristics you look for?
Interesting pen!
beautiful pen, great review as always!
Looks 👍
Excited about a chance to win this pen. Question: What is your grail pen?
Thanks for giving away the pen! Hope I win. :)
Excellent Review and love the Rubik’s cube Irish Flag in the background. The color of that pen is pretty cool.
It certainly looks interesting. I'm wondering if you have used other eyedropper filled pens and whether you had any problems (leaking, burping) with them.
Hi David, great review of a good and different pen. I already own a red one. Which wrote straight out of the box. I
Like the blue color
In for the GAW !
It's a wonderful pen! And it is in my favourite color blue. Hope i win this pen.
I wasn't sure about these pens, but your review has definitely sparked my interest. A unique pen for the price I feel.
Would be happy to win my first eyedropper! Thanks for the opportunity.
I’ve been considering this pen for my University student
just wanted to say I enjoy your videos. have watched all of them and some more than twice. and they are responsible for me purchasing a lot of pens. :) thanks
Opus 88 appears to be an interesting pen. Hope I am picked for it.
What pen brand and or pen would you like to see brought back into regular production? Opus also makes a clear acrylic 88 that is a bit bigger with a #6 nib.
Great review, as always. I would like to know if you currently use any leather pen cases or sleeves for EDC.
I'm intrigued that you like it so much you're thinking of buying it. I've been on the fence about it since the 1st time I saw it but I think it's growing on me. Thank you for the video.
That is a great looking pen and awesome review as always! I think a nice bright blue ink would go great in there!
I too would love to see the section made from ebonite, not so slippery and feels mush nicer in the fingers to hold. I'm In for sure, gorgeous
almost teal blue clear sections and i just love Ebonite one of my fav's.

Sounds like a VERY interesting pen, thank you for a chance to win!
Thank for the review. I have seen this pen, but couldn't find much info. about it!
Pen looks good!

Interesting pen! I like the St Paddy’s Day theme! How many Rubik’s cubes do you have? How fast can you solve them?

Pretty pen
Beautiful and interesting pen David ! This is a new brand for me, and is something to put in my list...
