Do you have any sketches to share? Nice job BTW. That looks like about the scale of machine a home brewer or two could really take advantage of. After picking how do you process the hops and chaff? I made a little bean threshing machines to process green and yellow pole beans along these lines - thresh the dry bean husks then to remove the chaff I dumped the beans and chaff in a bucket and wave a leaf blower around in it and presto the chaff flies off and I'm left with clean dried beans for baked beans or whatever. I was looking for something similar for my hops starting with picking.
This was just a prototype - so no cut list or plans (yet). The picking fingers were sourced from Sea to Sky hop solutions. More deets: gabriel.nagmay.com/2018/09/hop-stripper/
Hah. That was just a sidearm for testing. This year we used the machine to harvest a 1/4acre yard of full size bines. Really speeds things up compared to hand picking.

did you ever finish this?
Yes & no. This prototype has been working great and was really run through its paces this fall. Hope to make some modifications for the next season.
