Whole lot of rotten red cones in that drying bed. As well I see a TON of stem cuttings in that last shot of moving/elevation belted hops moving to the oast house. Would have liked to see closer on that floor to see if that same amount of stem/arm cuttings were left in that hop. Nice footage, thank you for taking it and sharing.

watching this makes me amazed that beer doesn't cost more than does. lots of overhead involved even before the brewery. Can't imagine the man hours if done by hand.

I think a bazillion-ka-gillian hours if all done by hand.

The next steps on that farm for the hops? The hops are harvested, baled, and then pelletized and put in boxes. The next steps are brewing beer and drinking it, which, I can make a video of us brewing some beer if you like.

I can't imagine picking all those cones by hand. That was some compost pile.

Wow this is nuts thanks for sharing. Is the product freeze dried at the end?

does the out back foliage and stems get composted? It looked like there was plenty of brown out there around the fresh stuff?
That would be a major nitrogen score for a carbon match up at ten to one!

John, Do you know any simple methodology to estimate hop bitterness (A/A %) without sending a sample to a laboratory for analysis?
