That medic has courage. He ran across open ground to help a fallen comrade and drag him to safety so he can treat the wound and hopefully evacuate the wounded in a timely manner. I've never understood the Ukrainian way of identifying the wounded and dead as 200 or 300. Perhaps it is more easily understood in slavic speech than acronyms or English speakers have to much love for acronyms that they make their way into normal conversion. My favorite is SNAFU, you can use the F word and not get in trouble.
It came from the Afghan war. When Ilyunshins would evacuate casualties back to the USSR, the Soviet code for dead was Cargo 200, and for wounded, Cargo 300.
Still, it does seem easier to just say /wounded/.
@@chrislong3938 it's fewer syllables to just say 200 or 300 in russian and ukrainian instead of saying wounded (2 syllables for the numbers compared to 3 or 4 syllables to say wounded). It's easier and clearer (stronger, easier to hear phonemes), and guys fighting in the conflict know what it means so it makes a lot of sense to say that instead of wounded. Similar shortcuts are taken in english ('man down!' instead of something more complicated than is appropriate for the situation.)

Diese Männer und Frauen, die für die Freiheit der Ukraine kämpfen, müssten allerdings weniger ertragen, wenn die europäische Union bedingungslose Solidarität zeigen würde und in diesem Sinne alles an die Ukrainer liefert was diese brauchen. Taurus, mehr Leopard 2, Munition und Flugzeuge. Die Zurückhaltung beim liefern dieser Güter, zahlen die Ukrainer mit den Leben ihrer Soldaten und Soldatinnen.
