Please. I beg of you. Do Border Princes or Araby next. Or anything at all. Just please return. Your videos are legendary and we NEED them to continue. I can sit for an entire hour and listen to them without a break. That’s how good they are.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost my account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me
I just found these videos, and man, you’re so right. Ruined my morning to find out. I’d just started painting Leapolds Leopard Company with this on in the background and was just expecting to binge as I painted. 1 1/2 hours later… silence…
Ok this video was incredible, it gave me so many ideas for WFRP. It also made me lament that GW just doesn't use its setting so much untapped potential
Remas is named after the second of the brothers who founded Rome. Rome was named after Romulus who killed his brother Remas to create the city of Rome. Warhammer flipped this story and named it after the killed brother. In fact, it’s 100% the Roman republic renamed. It even has a Caesar who went to Albion (England) and got stabbed to death.
It really is a right shame that places or nations like Tilea, Estalia, and the Border Princes are so...ignored by both the lore and the general community. There is SO much to be explored with these sothern realms, much potential for interesting stories and concepts, heck I'd even crank out some campaign books surrounding these places myself! Plus since Warhammer Fantasy is a lovely mix of history, mythology, folklore, and popular fiction then cranked up to 11 with a nice coat of dark fantasy themes painted over but still hopeful and people still cheerful just living their lives the best they can is really the perfect opportunity to introduce more people to cultures and myths they might not have otherwise known. (or atleast encourage people to research such stuff) Like the folktales of the peoples of the Italian peninsula, the unique lores of magic based on old religions and interesting concepts, and ofcourse unique tilean borne monstrous creatures (like the fierce two headed she leopard!) that could introduce even more mythical beasts from classical Roman and Greek myths as well as some of the more gothic stuff or even more obscure inspirations. (Etruscans and indo-European groups) Point is, give us some more well presented lore my dude! Next Estalia! (or whatever, your call..)
In Tuscany we have the Regolo, wich is a catch-all name for monstruosus snakes who live in roman and medieval ruins. There are many versions, but my favourite one is the one that depicts them as being able to fly at really high speeds, creating sparks due to air friction. They usually fly during thunderstorms, and attract lightning, to which they are immune. They can also either breathe fire or set things on fire just with their gaze. Imagine being out in the countryside during a massive storm, and seeing this massive snake flying through the clouds at high speeds, while being struck by lightning and leaving behind a trail of sparks and burning trees.
I’d be very excited to see you cover both Kislev & The Mountains of Mourne in future. Regardless it’s fantastic to see you put out another video after than great one on the Dark Lands.
Kislev would be really cool. I don't know if it's upcoming revisit in The Old World (or it's inclusion in Total War: Warhammer III) would make that more or less appealing, however...
If you want suggestions for your next video, I would like to see your take on the Border Princes or Estalia, the first option is a lot more easier than the second because of the 2e RPG book centered on the region
The 2nd One… what happened??! I just discovered this video, loved it, then saw you had one on The Dark Lands (so, THE two armies I collect and played), was PSYCHED to binge all your videos cus it was so well done, and… wtf?!
Just discovered your channel and love the indepth lore. You've clearly done a lot of research. This is like Kings and Generals level of information lol Hope you come back with more
Thanks for this brother good video if you keep this up you will become a big warhammer channel I consider myself a lore master with 40k but i have a lot I still have to learn about the old world and beyond your video was more informative then most warhammer fantasy channels
please do a whole video about Myrmidia please, I'm playing a character that's and ogre and a follower of myrmidia and i freaking love the lore behind the Myrmidia cult!
I would love to see more videos on the southern realms, many people just believe that they are all like Tilea and I would like if someone could break that myth
48:10 That Leopard has to be Tzeench or Kairos messing with humans. He told the past and the future, yet not the present. He also protected them for no reason.? Secret intentions. And then brough madness into their family.
The efforts that went into the visual really drive up the quality of this video, it's great to have a visual illustration of what you are hearing about. What did you use to make those city map btw ?
The Reman Empire could be so interesting if the lore went into it. The idea of an empire that came around the time of Sigmar’s Empire and conquered all of Tilea, Estalia, the Border Princes, and parts of Bretonnia. It would be really cool if they even had control of Araby and parts of the Badlands for a while, making them a real Roman Empire in fantasy.
this is the best lore video if ever seen about WH Fantasy. PLEASE make more!! Its unreal rich in information and depth, masterfull animatied and brings just the right fun from the "not so serious" times at GW. I LOVE IT!!!
I can confirm Tobaro is the equivalent to Genoa. Also, I don't know if it's a coincidence but "tabaro" in Genoese means Cloak, the city was actually divided jn different factions which crippled its prestige and the prince might be inspired from Monaco, which was born from a Genoese family. Even the character of the locals being closer to the Dwarfs is funnily enough coincident with the stereotype of the Genoese people being not super friendly
This is probably the most in depth video I have seen on any parts of the warhammer lore. I love the fact that you use the maps to give a precise depiction of what is happening where. I hope you make more videos like this. It helps me greatly in preparing my WFRP 4 game 😀👍 Great work 😃
We need more lore videos like these of other regions please. Especially now that Warhammer is becoming more and more popular again. In all honesty, I can't stay on other channel's videos regarding lores because of their style of talking. But you on the other hand have a relaxing but not sleepy way of telling the lore. I really appreciate your video style and narration.
This is awesome. I have no clue about warhammer lore, I just started playing total war wh. but this in dept tour through Tilea was amazing. Great detailing, awesome editing skills, awesome voice and story! You deserve so much more attention. Now I want a Tilea campaign with all those special mercenary forces and heroes unlockable, would be so cool! You have 5 months and a year left for your next video, I'm looking forward to it!
This is one of the best Lore videos I have seen. As someone whos just starting to get into Warhammer as a whole, it’s great. A shame that there are only 2 Videos.
Again it's a great shame u never made more videos also its fun seeing all the port cities and guessing which ones are knock offs of Constantinople and which ones are based on Carthage
Great use of infographics and maps, I found this utterly engrossing (normally I just listen to videos like this one in the background). Would love to now more about Estalia now.
Just discovered this channel and I have to say very cool, great content, not like the other "loremasters" on UA-cam, personally I'd like to see a video on the Badlands if you're taking suggestions but anything by you would be great I'm sure.
Dear 2nd one, thank you for exploring the old world in such beautiful detail! I have recently come to love warhammer fantasy, but have no idea where to start with the lore, or the locations, the peoples, etc. (I'm a 40k fan and have been for a while now...) This mini documentary is beautifully made, and I feel like I now know more about this region then any other place in the old world! Thank you so much, and I look forward to your future uploads! Have a good rest of your day!
Absolutely love the content, I was so happy to see your 2nd video in my feed today. I think it would be cool to have the next video on Bretonnia, Nehekara, or maybe the southern half of the Southlands.
Your videos are amazing! So much details and you can see so much hard work has been put into it. You need to make more videos about the geography and lore of Warhammer fantasy since it's so popular lately. Maybe cover Kislev or Cathay or whatever that is trending right now.
Holy shit... watched alot of warhammer lore channels, but this is some of the most detailed and nicely explained videos i have seen. Subbed from me and keep up the good work.
Great video ! It's a shame the lore has been explored any further for this region. I would love to see videos on Estalia, Ind, Bretonnia and Albion too
That's putting it mildly, its described that "the structure swayed and creaked like a mast of a ship at sea" during event, but it survived. Tilean craftsmanship I suppose.
One question i have is how big is the old world compared to ours? If i were to place Italy next to Tilea would it be the same size, smaller, or larger?
Please. I beg of you. Do Border Princes or Araby next. Or anything at all. Just please return. Your videos are legendary and we NEED them to continue. I can sit for an entire hour and listen to them without a break. That’s how good they are.
Somebody signal boost this man before he disappears again.
Someone needs to post this on the total war reddit. I would do it, but I don't have an account
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account?
I somehow lost my account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Crew Sawyer instablaster :)
To late.
Man really made 2 of the best Warhammer geography lore videos and dipped
Bro really dropped some of the best, most well researched war hammer videos and dipped.
I just found these videos, and man, you’re so right. Ruined my morning to find out. I’d just started painting Leapolds Leopard Company with this on in the background and was just expecting to binge as I painted. 1 1/2 hours later… silence…
He was literally god
I'm begging you we need you i want more videos tp binge
Fuming that this dude has vanished, by far the best and most well informed Warhammer Fantasy/Old World lore videos
Yay! The 2nd One has made his 2nd video!
This is literally one of the highest quality videos on UA-cam
I can't believe i discovered this man way too late... Hopefully you're still around and doing great!
This is one of the most wellmade lorevideos for warhammer i have ever seen
3:15 Remas is Rome. There was even a Reman Empire centered around it. Tylos/Kavzar is also Rome, but moreso in a metaphorical way.
Ok this video was incredible, it gave me so many ideas for WFRP. It also made me lament that GW just doesn't use its setting so much untapped potential
Remas is named after the second of the brothers who founded Rome.

Warhammer flipped this story and named it after the killed brother.
In fact, it’s 100% the Roman republic renamed. It even has a Caesar who went to Albion (England) and got stabbed to death.
Actually his name was REMUS but yeah they just changed a letter.
Subscribed, Tobaro is perhaps my favorite Tilean city. Hopefully we get to see more of Tilea in official material.
Just found this holy crap I want to run a campaign in this area now
It really is a right shame that places or nations like Tilea, Estalia, and the Border Princes are so...ignored by both the lore and the general community. perhaps they'll be featured in the next TW3 expansion?

Why isn't this channel more popular???? This is some of the best Warhammer content on youtube.
Agree

Thanks for this brother good video if you keep this up you will become a big warhammer channel I consider myself a lore master with 40k but i have a lot I still have to learn about the old world and beyond your video was more informative then most warhammer fantasy channels
Shame we have no more content from this channel, these are by far the best breakdowns of the Warhammer world.
I need an Estallia version
This was amazing geography, I wish for your return in the future! =)
18:05 Veni, Vidi, Vici You did a pretty good job
please do a whole video about Myrmidia please, I'm playing a character that's and ogre and a follower of myrmidia and i freaking love the lore behind the Myrmidia cult!

Or maybe...other entities are allowed to exist that have NOTHING to do with Chaos because it doesn't have a monopoly on weird, magical sh*te.
@@navilluscire2567 Sorry to say its not the case. Warhammer doesnt work like that.
The efforts that went into the visual really drive up the quality of this video, it's great to have a visual illustration of what you are hearing about. What did you use to make those city map btw ?
Thank you for the kind words, and I just used photoshop.
@@The2ndOne Dam, good job then.

Dude, how do you have so little subscribers? That's amazing lore and detail! I would suggest estalia, the border princes or the expedition later
Impressive work 🎉

I considered myself a old world historian. You sir are teaching me new things 🙏 thanks please return
My goodness this is very well done and clearly took plenty of work with the editing, HOW do you only have only about 800 subscribers?
What an amazing video
Come back dude, this stuff is amazing
I never left, I'm just slow. The next video is still being worked on.
@@The2ndOne lol it is good to know :^)

Personally, I'd love to hear your take on the Border Princes.
Good to see you back in action by the way! Your Darklands Lore video was fantastic.

Amazing video with some really high quality research and editing. Looking forward to whatever region you'll cover next.
These look incredible and the lore you came up with it really sells it. I hear you man listening to old man Joe talk is just absolutely soul crushing

This is the best lore video on Tilea I've ever seen. Hope to see you cover Estalia and the Border Princes or maybe Kislev in the future.
Hope you make more of these videos they are seriously well made
Dear 2nd one, thank you for exploring the old world in such beautiful detail! Bro you coming back?
Holy shit... watched alot of warhammer lore channels, but this is some of the most detailed and nicely explained videos i have seen. Subbed from me and keep up the good work.
The low amount of views is a complete shame! Great work, 2nd one!
Great video ! It's a shame the lore has been explored any further for this region. I would love to see videos on Estalia, Ind, Bretonnia and Albion too
Pretty damn good editing for an upcoming channel, I also like the little animations.
The grand tower of Tylos is really one sturdy piece of architecture, if it's able to withstand explosions rifting continental crusts.
That's putting it mildly, its described that "the structure swayed and creaked like a mast of a ship at sea" during event, but it survived. Tilean craftsmanship I suppose.
cant wait for the next video
One question i have is how big is the old world compared to ours? If i were to place Italy next to Tilea would it be the same size, smaller, or larger?
From what i heared the warhammer World should be 2,5-3< times bigger then our normal world
Love to see one of these for the Mountains of Mourn.
Just have to make a comment and thank you for the grade of detail and time you put into this video!
Man the quality of the video is just superb!
appreciate the work going into this.
Finding this video 😃
Checking the channel for more 😮💨
we need more of this geography videos
