I couldn’t agree with all of you more. I’ve been told by many other musical fans, “there are other singers with deeper, lower voice.” But I continue to tell them, it’s not simply just because V’s voice is deep but the delivery behind his singing just has so much soul which isn’t something you really get out of any groups out there. Soloist, yes. And in the end of the day, we’re not trying to compete here, we are simply consuming the art that each and any artist is giving us.
I have been waiting for Taehyung to do this for YEARS. His solo work is the first package I have purchased since BTS went on hiatus, Version 3 (purple). My mom is going nuts over his voice, so I bought another one for her. I just watched iU's Palette, Episode 24, he sings live on there too.
Watch V with IU in IU's Palette 😊 He sang Slow Dancing with a live band and it sounds even better. He also had a duet with IU, they sang IU's Ending Scene and it was amazing. They sound good together.
V is a true artist. His album is a genre of it's own with raw and natural sounds. Those MVS are incredibly ingenious and his vocals take you into an abyss of sadness that is Soo comforting. He's truly outstanding with just natural vibes

The FEELS are unique to his voice. I've been an Army since 2017, and I SAW how hard this boy (now man) worked to fit his natural voice to the genre (and pitch) BTS songs are known for. And he succeeded beyond belief. Now his debut solo is all about him. THIS ALBUM IS A NO SKIP ALBUM.

He's a true performer. I loved all the solo albums they put out so far but Layover just hits my vibe. It's so relaxing and beautiful. Chapter 2 BTS are awesome. I can see what they meant with "finding their own colors" and coming back stronger as a whole. So inspiring!
