I really like that you took the time to look at the Korean version :3. For pronunciation tho just like how v doesn't exist, neither does a lot of other Romanised sounds like b and p. So for the pronunciation there is less of a hard b sound and more in between and less emphasis on the w.

Tae started at BigHit as a 15 yr old in 2011, and now he's 24. He (like all of them) has matured, but can still be silly sometimes.

The members have said once that tae is the only member who doesn't change his personality in front of camera, like he's very comfortable with it, he's an easy going person that treasures every moment in life, and believes that "it's not a big deal" to overcome problems, he's actually very smart and talented even his stage presence is being studied by other idol cz of his unique style in dancing and showing great facial expressions...
There're a lot of compilations about him being a genius and I'm not even kidding, you'll notice that in run eps too, also he's the second youngest so he tends to share a lot of hobbies and talents with kookie, he's just more quite about it💜

Taehyung has changed the most out of all the members. A lot of these clips are kind of on the old side and Taehyung still has a silly sense of humor but in the past year and a half or so he's matured so much. He's a lot more serious and reserved now. I don't think that's a bad thing, I just think that out of the members he kind of had the most noticeable maturity. Tae just chills now lol.

I just realized that V is LITERIALLY gonna have a 2 days Birthday. He was in Korea on the 30th there and they flew out of Korea last night and they will be in New York today where it is again the 30th. I'm so slow to just have realized that. Hope he has Great days for both Birthday's.

When I joined the fandom end of 2017, he seemed to be going through a rough time maybe, he calmed down and matured alot in 2 years. His quirky personality still peeps through but it's less obvious now. He's still funny af though, love him so much 💜
The thing is in 2017 he decided he will be "cool" in front of army so on the carpet you see the cool V and he's obviously more grown up now but you'll still see his moments of craziness, he can't just keep it in sometimes lmao thats why we love him, suga still recently said he's the one that makes them laugh the most and I think army can agree

Taehyung's my bias and has been from day one. He's brilliant, talented, hilarious, has a beautiful heart and soul. It's funny how sometimes you encounter a person and just understand, even though you don't know them. Taehyung is just part of my "tribe" He's amazing and, as one of his actor friends said, he was born to be loved.

In Regards to what you said him being the serious one, he actually is currently.
But, you see this compilation has clips from years before. Now this is coming from an ARMY with Tae as my UB, I noticed before he's usually very carefree and goofy most of the time. As in he would almost never miss the opportunity to be funny or extra at the camera,
But now he became a bit more serious than ever in interviews right now, as in like it's almost a gold find to catch him smile and being goofy these days. If you've remembered his sad memory of his grandmother passing away followed up with his other idol friend that passed away too *forgot his name, sorry :(
I think that kinda affected him a bit, and that experience made me think that he matured because of it. But at the end of the day, as ARMY we can only guess this much, there may be even more deeper reason why he became more quiet and serious or maybe nothing at all but we may never know.
I trust them that they'll tell whenever they're ready to and we should give them space until the day they are comfortable to tell us something.

I think so too. I think with his grandparents and friend passing away in such a short amount of time really made him a lot more serious. I think 2019 was such a formative year for him. He's done a lot of healing and growing.

Tae Tae is allllll character. Always has been and I've followed them since the beginning. He's the classic artist. Quirky, emotive, a little eccentric, and I would guess he's an extroverted introvert. He loves to create reactions and energy in people but his refuel is the time he spends with art and his camera. Privately deep and soulful. Of the seven, I think what he keeps to himself would be more surprising than any other if it was visible. There is as much held in as there is let out, I think. Love Tae!! Can't imagine how anyone couldn't. =)

I remember when they were first getting their name and songs out there, V was over the top crazy. He was the clown of the group especially his facial expressions and zany antics. The funniest was his facial expressions OMG I still look for those old videos. And the ones where it was the end of an awards show and he would stand right behind the MC's and it would look like he's between them. Then he would mock them. We dont see him do these things anymore because he said that his agency told him to stop doing those things. They told him that he's only allowed to either smile or keep a straight face and that's all.
The crazy ones in the group are actually Hobi and V, but ive seen alot of people say that recently that they thought V was the quiet one or that he was cool and they didnt know he was like this lol

He also went through a depressive episode from 2018-2020. One of his good friends from SHINEE committed suicide. In 2018 while on tour, his grandmother passed away and she raised him he didn't get to see her. He was left with an unfulfilled act of mentioning her on t.v. during a program or interview. From then he seemed lifeless on interviews, red carpets, he participated what he could for ments and in their games like Run BTS.
He began showing his happy side after the members wrote letters to each other on their 7th anniversary party on 6/13/2021, and they all said the same to V that they were sad to see him sad, they hope he could feel better if there is anything they can do or even just listen to him.
He began cheering up and even doing his crazy things and V's language.

V - our Tae tae - used to be really open and impulsive and playful and then he had some intense losses in his life all within a 2-year span which seemed to bring him more into himself. He still laughs, jokes and has fun but he lost the sense of innocense he had back then. I love both versions of him...the boy child and the man that he has grown into. I hope he has nothing but love and joy going forward.
Taehyung’s quirkiness are the key to his popularity in my opinion. He is relatable, honest, authentic and unbothered by societal norms and expectations. It’s just a breath of fresh air.
