Art, I want to thank you for allowing me to tell not only my story but my wife's story as well. My wife actually grew up on a farm and I grew up in the country. That is why it was so easy for me to talk about what Country Style means to me. I was blessed to receive so much knowledge from my Grandfather about living off the land and when I married my wife, her father and uncles blessed me with their knowledge. Now, I am passing it on to my sons and daughters. My grandfather, my wife's father, and uncles have gained their wings, but I know they are looking down on us with pride because we are keeping their memories and legacy alive. We will forever do it COUNTRY STYLE!!!

I just love the show. The guy who won the last prize brought tears to my eyes. Like him, Country Style reminds me of my ancestors who are no longer here. The good times we had the food,drinks and conversations are priceless memories. ❤❤

I'm HORRIBLE at speaking in public, but if I was there and had the courage to get on the microphone, I would have said something like, "To me, country style means connection and tradition. I'm just a city boy from St. Louis, Missouri, but when I first came across Art's channel on UA-cam, I felt an immediate connection with all of the people I was seeing. I know it may sound corny, but after watching a few episodes of the show, it actually brought tears of joy to my eyes. It almost felt like you guys were family members that I had never been introduced to or something. I felt like I was supposed to be there and I also thought about my deceased relatives who probably lived in family tradition this way, but weren't able to pass the family tradition down to me for some reason. Who knows? Maybe we are related some kind of way through DNA, but even if we aren't, when I look out into this room and see all of these brothers and sisters from all across the country, I can't help not to feel that we're ALL connected and were brought here for a good reason - to kick it with country style family members, spread love and keep the tradition going. Salute!"

This was so much fun; I am so glad that I found your channel a few months ago. Keep up this positivity in your videos!!!! Y’all’s parents raised some great men!!!!
These GA 🍑 had a blast! We were able to get pictures with everyone except Hezekiah. Even ol Gissum managed to smile for a picture with us. I'm VERY lucky to have gotten there early enough to purchase Gissum's sauce, Den Fen's wine, Cleave's apple pie wine and taste some of that delicious rabbit he makes and purchase country style t-shirts. Don't let the video shots fool you, when we got there at 1:15 the place was PACKED! We got in the long line immediately for samples of Gissum's grilled meats before he ran out. The crowd started thinning a couple hours in due to the SEC game which allowed us to finally get in the merch line, although they were sold out of the average sizes by then. Despite all the rain, the Country Style family made it a beautiful day. Thanks for sharing your village with us and allowing us all to be apart of the family Art!

Country Style is a movement!!!!
What Country Style means to me. It takes me back to my chilhood.Every summer my mom would take us to my grandparents farm in Virginia. We watch our grandmother make homemade ice cream. She churned her own butter and my Grandfather would make Brunswick Stew and we children would help picked the grapes, and tomatoes, and string beans. Then we go into the kitchen and watch our grandmother prepare what we picked. Country Style takes me back to those fond memories with my grandparents. Sigh!!!?

Beautiful! This was a Really Nice Time! It’s so good to see how far this show has come since it’s inception with the hog head cheese episode. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be at the next one! Already tried out Den Fen and Gissum's sauces (that mustard base sauce of Gissum's is 🔥🔥🔥🔥) and tried Gissum's rub on my Sunday roast.

Thank you Art...what a blast. The crowd was definitely much larger but a lot of us had to leave to attend the SEC tailgating and game even though we were already stuffed from all of the good food. That rabbit salad was A_1 ...and Gissum's sauce should be sold in all stores. The first CS member i met was beautiful niece Raven as she was scanning tickets and as i was leaving lil Stevie and the fireman were pulling up in the parking lot being surrounded by CS fans like we used to do Jodeci back in the day baby! Loved it...looking forward to the cook-off this year.
