I'm a Xiaomi only user. From the redmi 2 I have only used this brand since 2016. Currently using the note 10 pro and the 9A. I've just ordered the 11 pro. Will never use another brand of phone again.

I've had the redmi note 8 plus for many years and I'm still happy with it. My contract has been up for renewal for some time though, and I think I'll get 2 of the 4g ones for myself and my wife. These phones have great features for the price and easy to use.
They had the redmi note 11 pro for £69 on the Xiaomi app here in the UK 2 days ago!

A huge smartphone with one of the best mediatek processors at its heart.
From the style to the features this mediatek powered Redmi smartphone checks all the boxes.
Except putting a headphone jack at the top of the phone. If you have it in your hand, cable gets in the way. If it's in a pocket or bag, it feels odd pulling out.
Why oh why, after all these years do manufacturers still regularly put headphone jacks on the top and make fingerprint magnet slippery or uncomfortable surfaces (not necessarily this device)

It's better to buy the previous redmi note 10 Pro if you don't care about the crazy fast charging and durability. Me do, but 33w is enough. On this phone you get downgraded chipset, no 4k recording unlike previous version, heavy 200+g weight, 2mp crapcro lens vs 5mp telemacro and a price of 400+ SGD. Alternatively, you can go for the realme 9 pro+ or samsung a52s, they are better phones.
What would you say about the Wi-Fi speed. From my experience older phones had better connection than this one..

How is the self video camera for low light? And front camera for low light? No dots or interference shown? Is it clear? My Huawei y90 records very very poor for the self videos, pictures, front camera, etc.

GSM arena website states this phone has 108 mp, can someone explain why this video says 12mp as main camera?
Xiaomi is not the best phone. We repair smartphones Xiaomi every day and it is expensive and difficult in repair process. Video quality is oversharped. The dynamic range is not as wide.
The screen has color distortions. White color is not pure. So I recommend Xiaomi only for inexpensive and budget use.

Well I use two sets one is redmi just upgraded form note 8 to note 11 (redmi) and iPhone 13 pro max I just miss the camera of iPhone other than that it was quite gooooood!!!!!!!

I got a Redmi Note 11 for my wife and I really hate it. Is 100% times worse than the Redmi note 8 which record up to 4k when the Note 11 just 1080p at 30fps. The Note 8 allows you to use a second space and the Note 11 isn't. Very good video for that note 11 pro (A). Watching you from The Dominican Republic.

Watching on my Note 9s. Redmi dropped the ball on the 11 series. They're completely pointless and barely an upgrade over the Note 9 Pro series. To switch to a Mi 11 Lite 5G. Was hoping the Note 11 series would be an upgrade.
Amoled and 120hz display are enough upgrade from your 9s
@@davorbobic1229 Amoled, maybe. 120HZ? I don't care about that. The battery tradeoff is not worth it. I use my phone for media content and social media, 60Hz is plenty good for that.
Will I trade a perfectly working device for one upgrade and a ton of downgrades? Definitely not.
Xiaomi knows Redmi note buyers do not upgrade their phones on a yearly basis. You get a note 9s or 10, you better off with the 12 or 13 or until it's broken. If you rock a note 8, 7, or lower this note 11 would certainly be a good upgrade. I think note 11 is killed not by note 9 or 10, but by poco f3 which has Unbeatable value.

I also have the note 9, have started to look to see what's out on the market or should I wait until next year. For redmi besides the screen refresh rate not much of a big enough improvement to get either note 10 or 11 although the 10 has some improvements over the 9 but the 11 doesn't seem to have any real improvements over the 10. Maybe next year there will be a note 12 that will be a big enough step up

I have a question please - will the fingerprint work if the phone has a case? I think it wont work since the cover on the button will block the fingerprint, is it correct ?

every manufacturer right now is using the S695 chip in 2022 & will definately use it extensively in all the upper midrange to lower range phones & its a very sad thing to see.
i would really appreciate people if you read this fully to understand the problem
there are some Pros:
- on CPU side it is a decent upgrade by having A78 cores & not A76 like every other chipset in this category.
- TSMC 6 nm node is also a decent upgrade which will benefit battery life & thermals.
But The major cons are its limitations in the SOC's features itself like
- No 4k video recording Support at all even if the phone has the sensor to capture it like redmi note 11 pro 5g model
- No HDR10,HDR10+ & HLG display support so even if the display is capable in itself but it cannot acheive it due to SOC limit.
- Adreno 619 is very much equal to a 730/732g gpu so no upgrade at all.
this is a INTEL move by Qualcomm. let me explain.
INTEL for almost 4 gen of cpu's did nothing of an upgrade to CPU's instead they just slight improved the clock speeds & used the same process node as years ago instead of improving it drastically & used high power to get those results.
then AMD brought zen 2 & zen 3 cpu's which were miles ahead of the INTEL cpu's so they woke up & introduced 12th gen much improved gen of CPU's.
my point is qualcomm is just wasting silicon on this degrading chips which doesnt improve & rather degrade the improvements made before by their own soc's. mediatek has become the AMD of mobile soc's right now by bringing dimenity chips to smartphones without compromising on major things just look at 800u,720,1200,900 & 920 they bring so much more than the snapdragon soc's at that price point.

Actually personally I like dimensity chipsets over snapdragon.
It's image are now superb with no difference with snapdragon
It's not overheating like snapdragon hence prolonged battery usage.
108-mp is such nice camera support, and Mediatek is going to facilitate it well.
Megapixel doesn't mean anything since zooming in will show the details still blurrier than the 12 megapixel iphone. More resolution doesn't necessarily mean sharper details. Often just more blurry pixels.
Camera is still pretty good on this one tho. I prefer the color science to older Xiaomi phones

@@filipg3264 I know still not worth the upgrade. I use Metro PCS here in America and the only thing I had to do is turn on the vo LTE by dialing a few numbers and now the phone works flawless. Metro wouldn't trying to help me out at all I had a UA-cam it they didn't like the fact that I didn't buy one of their phones

Why would you want to move app and game into sd slot? I thought ppl use sd card for data not app itself, cuz you need faster read and write on apps.

I'm done with xiaomi for now. Until they fix the MIUI to be more 3rd party launcher friendly, I'm staying away from them.
just install a custom Rom. no manufacturer allows 3rd party launchers properly
@@gamatube2973google and samsung does. Also what's the point of installing a custom rom to a brand new unit? I think we're at a point where stock UI 's now should be more than enough for everyone. The only reason for installing a custom rom right now (IMO) is for outdated software but still capable hardware. Like motorolas where you only get one update (if you're lucky).

Xiaomi can't even send and receive group and picture text. I had to return my MI Mix 4.
Not every 3rd party launcher works well with Samsung or OnePlus either.
Its a stupid moot point, there some issues that I have experienced with Launcher 10 for example which the recent apps screen broke and it took them 6 months to fix it with update to MIUI 12.6
But most launchers that fail to work properly, are duo to permission issues and MIUI optimisation which could be shut down, ironically on OneUI there very little you can do to fix launchers when they break, you just gotta look elsewhere.

I think it is better to buy used samsung galaxy s10, the hardware and the display is still more premium and has headphone jack and sd card slot. I used mine for about 8 months now.
But the battery life is too small compared to up to date phones and no fast charge
@@acma9193 uhm for me the battery life is ok, last me around 6 hours on wifi. I use a 25w fast charger and still fine. It varies on how you use the phone. I also have powerbank for backup with QC 3.0, can full charge my s10 for around 1½ hours hehe.
They have issue with screen. Im using it for 2 years and the screen now is broken, it is more of yellowish with lines
I'm using S10e since April 2019, so almost 3 years now. The screen has perfect colours like brand new one, sound quality is great, battery life is decent. From the option I set the battery to charge up to 85% for battery longevity. I rarely use the phone for more than 2 hours per day and usually at this point it's at 45-55% battery at the evening, after it has been charged to 85% at the morning (so, about 30-40% less battery charge for 2 hours of usage). I use the power-efficient settings with 70% CPU speed since I don't need the extra power of the chipset.

Redmi Note 11S is one to go in Redmi Note 11 series. But as a whole, this year Note series is bit of a miss.

Redmi is no longer provide value to their customer. Also their update is no longer like the previous gen phones. The miui update was consistent during the redmi note 4 pro era. And its not as stable as the older version of miui as well. If you're looking for value, it's better to take a look of realme.

I have already seen it in other reviews that people who have the redmi 10 shouldn't bother to upgrade with the 11th model of the series. What about people like me who don't have the redmi 10? I am looking to finally get myself a new phone after using my huawei p20 lite for almost 5 years and so far it seems that redmi 11 pro is leading the race. I am on a relatively tight budget, and main features I prefer are decent (to excellent if possible) camera, good display and cpu. If somebody got any recommendations I would be grateful :)
I had the Nova 5t for like 2-3 years, it broke so i had to get a phone.
For the money, the Pro 11 gives a lot, I checked a few other phones too but at that price of 260e i couldnt find any better for my likes so i ordered it.
