Hey mate! I just finished the armor and jet pack and everything! I wanted to ask though about wearing the jetpack. I have fabric elastic bands that I got but I'm having trouble attaching it to the jetpack. My dad recommended epoxy glue but I wanted your opinion.
Epoxy may be a good solution indeed. Don't hesitate to dig small holes in the Jetpack so that you can glue the tips of your elastics in them more efficiently, it's basically what I did, and it worked pretty well ;)

The problem is that they are most of the time shorter than it should be for that type of format. They should be 40 to 45 minutes long, but they end up to be 30 minutes sometime less 😕 probably a money issue

And I post one tutorial a month, so do the math ... lol I can't please everyone so I have to choose the ones that are the most requested in order to please as much people as I can. Also it's important to follow trending events when they happens (upcoming movies; shows etc) as it helps a lot to grow a UA-cam channel. So it's complicated.

Do you mean you heard him talking about me? 🙂 lol About the paint I would recommend to use a primer first and then 2 (or even 3) thin layers of acrylic paint so you won't soak the cardboard. But you have to keep in mind that painting it is going to make all imperfections much more visible, and it may look at the end a little bit like a craft made by a young child to an extend lol That's the reason why I don't paint my props, cardboard in not really made for that unfortunately.

Honestly, if you manufactured all of the correct templates in a builders kit with instructions, you would make a killing because people like me that don’t have the patience or skill to cut out the templates would be willing to pay for pre cut templates .
I get your point but these kits would be so expensive! Like hundreds of dollars even thousands as I'd have to spent days working on it even weeks, just to make a single kit lol, time during which I wouldn't be able to make anything new for this channel... so that's not really doable unfortunately.
