if you make the clock up to scale of a full 3d printer bed so around 20-22 cm in diameter and use floppy drive motor, you could make electronics hidden and power the thing from 3 aaa or small lipo battery making the whole project just a ring, capable of being wall mounted you would have to think about different reduction drive and resynchronize it but it could look really good

Are you talking about this project? ua-cam.com/video/0QjO08HNXos/v-deo.htmlsi=W9-NXB2QgS8XwpWh Actually, there is a detailed explanation here github.com/maker101io/mXY-board-xy-plotter-drawing-machine.
Stepper motors can be whisper quiet if you use a special stepper driver that supports stealth chop. Without it they're not really that loud, about the same level as a regular mechanical clock. Try not to put the clock on anything hollow because that greatly amplifies the sound. Shouldn't be a problem as the clock only moves once every minute.

Love how you got the name of your sponsor wrong the first time. Too bad they're beyond annoying with their sponsorship and host stolen projects on their community sites.
I respect your views, but you can think of it as a maker culture, and usually the projects are open source. So I think the phrase "stolen project" is wrong, as each open source project is shared, the contribution to the project increases and the project improves. Like Arduino boards for example, it's completely open source and a lot of manufacturers are copying and producing Arduino boards, but we always talk about Arduino. So the winner is Arduino. As for sponsors, we should think of sponsors as a building block that supports and sustains the maker culture. UA-cam view earnings can only buy some components, but sponsors sometimes make extra contributions to projects such as 3D printing support, sometimes PCB + shipping support like in this project. This is important for hobbyists like us.
@@maker101io Too bad I didn't make my project open source - that's the whole point you're missing. That's why I'll stick with that other major chinese PCB place without the intrusive sponsorships.

Will ordering using the above link PCB+Assembly provide the complete component (Audrino Nano + ULN2003) excluding the stepper motor?
Another excellent project comes🤩
Thanks for your support and high-quality PCBs 🚀❤

Teşekkür ederim 😇

THAT IS SO COOL
Thanks
@@maker101io You're welcome
That was a very smart way of doing it. Great job!
Thanks
How is the time set?
All you need to do is manually set the hour and minute hands according to your local time, then insert it into the slot and power up the board. 😇

Good project ❤

Hi, nicely build. Is it possible to get your CAD files and code? Thanks
i would like that too...👍
Thanks, I will add it as soon as possible, I will inform you

Beautiful design. Thank you for sharing.
Is it quiet? Would you put it in a bedroom where a baby sleeps?

@@PunakiviAddikti Thanks very much for your advice 😄
It's absolutely quiet, you can put it wherever you want
@@PunakiviAddikti I agree with you, thank you for the answer

10 circuit boards for 5 dollars? Are you kidding me?
If the design is below a certain size, 10 PCBs are 5 dollars
Can I get the boards from you ?

It's an AI generated voice. They probably had a typo in pcb way.

@@maker101io AI voice is using text to speech for the voice in the video instead of a real people talking.
