The whole reason Numan is nowhere near the genius he was in 79 to 81. Nothing groundbreaking or innovative now just boring climate crisis pushing and cheap God bashing.

On another note. I know he plays a different instrument but would you be able to do an interview with Gary's Guitarist, Steve Fox-Harris?
He's been with him since the late 1990s early 00s, a huge part of Gary's sound I think.

I was hoping the remade Sacrifice would be out this year to mark its 30th anniversary. Maybe it still will be ... I heard Gary say in an interview the new album will reflect present day worries about the future threat of A.I. Fascinating, given how he began with Tubeway Army and Replicas!
That would be refreshing as the climate 'crisis' the world is going to burn and lazy God bashing is dull as ditch water. 79 to 81 Numan was genius. After that he rode on the coat tails of that genius making worse and worse albums before turning into a cut price NIN.

I think it’s more that too many people are trapped in an idealised version of the past.
They’d rather believe a band like Tubeway Days who mimic the old stuff (and to me it feels like besmirching something sacred) are more “faithful” (to the point of being completely faithless) is “more Gary Numan than Gary Numan” instead of accepting the journey of an artist and how he’s evolved over time.

Btw, it was funny to read from Gary's newsletter about the Belfast show "I was one of the last to know about that". :-)
Also, I love NIN and e.g. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo or Gone Girl are really beautiful, but there is already a bit too many of them and I wish for a "real" NIN music already.
Now, gotta check Raven's song finally! Okay, this is not bad, although my feeling is that perhaps she should use different producer (I love Ade sound, don't get me wrong)...? And if performed live, maybe sister(s) can sing vocals. :-) But definitely a good start, very good start indeed.

Ravens track sounds like her Dad's music. Nobody in the fan base will ever criticise her stuff and that's what they call Numan disease. Fenton is a nobody in the grand scheme of things certainly here in the states he's virtually unheard of. Ditch Ade and use Alan Wilder, Gaz.

To be fair to Ade its true that Numan needs him as he has nothing original or new to offer. He is lazy and the numan faithful comment is bang on.
