"A grand jury will indict a ham sandwich". So really, an indictment by itself is virtually MEANINGLESS . ONLY the prosecutors are allowed to say ANYTHING !! The defendant & his lawyer get no chance to say JACK .
There's a process. Maybe he'll be convicted, maybe not. The Fulton Co. GA one is very solid, as is his inciting deadly riots and trying to steal the election. Don't forget we had 1000 republicans falling over themselves testifying before the 1/6 Commitee.

It's honestly the barrier for entry to a trial, so it's not surprising that most indictments make it through, as there's sufficient evidence to warrant them. Given what we already know, the likelihood that there's enough evidence to warrant an indictment for Trump is high, but again, it's a normal first step in these types of proceedings. So, chill out.

It's not a "stunt", and characterizing it as such is goofy and ignorant. Also there isn't a downside professionally or legally if he loses. It may have some impact on future opportunities if the case is _somehow_ without merit, but it's _wildly unlikely_ that's the case.
They wouldn't move forward _at all_ unless they had sufficient evidence to warrant it, especially given the nutjobs and lemmings that blindly support Trump, frothing at the mouth, waiting to find _any_ reason to flip out and internally discredit this whole thing. I mean, they've already started and Trump hasn't even been indicted yet, so, the rollercoaster of ignorance and extreme stupidity is only downhill from here.

That's a stretch. The liklihood of Trump winning is nil anyways, so there's no need to explicitly go out to disqualify him. He's also quite old, and not particularly healthy, so his time is limited anyways.
Frankly, in a perfect world, after his time in office he should've probably been disqualified from holding public office by his actions and blatant lies, but that's just not how things work.
